@@RaineyTv this is late but my fav was "how's it feel to stain your family name" because it mocks how they have been painting the illusion of pure perfection, nothing more and nothing less, a facade which veils a dark truth (everyone being hurt mentally: eg pepa bottles up her emotions, isabela being forced to do things she doesn't want, live a life she doesn't want and be used like a perfect doll, nothing more than something used to relive abuela's old life and not do what she wants, luisa being used practically as a slave, bruno being pushed away, mirabel hurting because she's downlooked by both her family and the village, camilo probably having a crisis about his value as himself or other people that he shapeshifts into, antonio freaking out and hiding, probably psychologically terrified of getting a bad gift or not a good one, scared of what happened to mirabel and if he'd be pushed away like bruno) and she's taking it all away easily, making it crash down and showing how fragile the family really was.
In short: It's mocking the fact that the family and Abuela especially are so focused on having this "perfect" image/reputation and Mirabel is taking that all away in a matter of seconds.
Wow. That was best villain song (though Meg's comes a pretty close second). I just love picturing what the story would have been like if Mirabel truly did allow the darkness to consume her after dealing with generational trauma for years from her own family - as well as practically being neglected from the villagers. The darkness being her only true companion, and turned her into the one that destroyed the magic. Though I wish Mirabel told off all of her family members; saving her grandmother for last. If Disney actually did that, made the protagonist become the villain...that definitely would have been something different. I guess we'll just have to wait until FanScription comes up with one.

Yeah they are the ones that had the most reason to turn villain. Meg is still number 1 to me though.
In greek myth, Megara fate was even more tragic. She was gave to Hercules as a prize by her father and Hercules ended up killing her children in front of her then choked her to death. I don’t get it how in the original story he could just move on, marry other wifes and be considered a hero after all.

You should know that the story is in the description. But I’ll reveal it here so next time you can know where to look for the story. Okay? Here’s the story now:
Mirabel has always tried to be understanding, tried to accept that her family was meant to shine and she was meant to blend into the background. She tried to be loving and kind and helpful but her family responded to that kindness with cruelty. They refused to see Mirabel as a valued member of the family and in our story instead of forgiving and trying to connect with her family Mirabel rejects them.
Our Mirabel has allowed her disdain and hatred to grow, and now that darkness blinds her. Her pure heart tarnished by bitterness and her mind set on revenge. If they won’t see her as a valued member of the family then she’ll take away that which they value the most. To be loved and valued less than a candle, it’s laughable really.
And so it’s about time Mirabel places a mirror in front of her family, showing them exactly what she sees. Pepa, a frightened coward, hiding in her storms and constantly running from the truth. Dolores, like her mother, too afraid of the truth and what it means to speak up. Isabela, putting on a performance everyday to avoid what facing her could truly mean, what facing her thorns could mean. And Alma, the Matriarch, sitting so high above them all that she can no longer see her family, can no longer see what truly matters.
Every single member of the family saw Mirabel’s suffering and Bruno’s suffering and chose to ignore it. And so they are no longer worthy of her love, no longer deserving of all the sacrifices Mirabel has made to make this family work. And so, the thing they love and value the most will be taken from them. Maybe then they’ll learn what truly matters, that is if they make it out alive
