Making gardens and brocades...now that sparks the imagination. I love watching how you audition the larger floral pieces then rip them down to the right size. It's no longer "shocking"😮❤❤ because we've seen how gorgeous and natural it turns out...like a floral bouquet or really how our gardens bloom naturally. ❤❤❤
hey there Kate! love how this nest is starting. i can't get over how beautiful the blankets are in Australia. it would have been fun to grow up having that yellow and orange sunshiney blanket on my bed. so happy it has found a home with you and gets to be the center of attention again. thanks for sharing this project with us. linda from california
Hello lovely Linda. Never thought of blankets like this - yes, nothing better than a colourful snuggly blanket to sleep under here. But you do have all that wonderful sunshine.....missing California. xxx
Those blankets are great from Zoe! I’m loving seeing your organising and finding. Definitely joyful to see all the colors and peeping out of your drawer at the back.
Hello Christina! How are you??? I've been watching your videos - and missing you. OH my goodness - so many piles of colour around! Have a wonderful day, sincerely, Kate❤🧡💛💚💙
@ yes I have been quiet. But the year is starting up now, so I will be back to commenting and watching. 😊 I have been reading books 😂 it’s great January fun!
Hurray Linda. Did you see a glimpse of your beautiful butterfly? She will tell me where she needs to land....she's very special. THank you so much. xxx❤🧡💛💚💙
Loving all the textures! Very distracted though by the cuffs on your shirt, what do they say? 😂 It’s tantalising seeing just a bit of your interesting tops!! Some look like they’re made from vintage embroideries? Wish we had a Green Door in the UK as the blanket is glorious.
Hello Phillipa! Oh dear - I didn't think of the writing on my sleeves....I have a combination of different tops/dressed and yes, some are vintage. I am going to do this myself in the future.....just so many projects on the list! Hope you are keeping warming. Sending blessings, Kate😊❤❤
Good morning from over here. My first wake up time of the day so around 4:00 am....so I need to check in and see how you are and will make my first cup of coffee. l was needing to see what was happening in your nest to get my brain working ... 😉 .The best way to work on a project is to just go with wherever your eyes take you. Snow here....what can I say it is part of our life. I still have on my to do list a pin cushion in the log shape that you made. Totally makes sense to me. So when I have a space in my ideas they will happen. Not impressed with Canada Post's service since they were ordered back to work. Alot of mail sitting around in postal stations not sorted. So we shall see how that situation goes. Think I will go and have a bit of a lay down before totally beginning the day. Have a wonderful day. Stay safe..enjoy every stitch. 😘🇨🇦
Hello dear Donna. I do worry about how early you wake up, but as long as you go back to bed and sleep? Thank you for the creative and Canada update - always appreciated! Take care and have a wonderful day. Sincerely, Kate❤🧡💛💚💙
