Do you really fix the accountability of the officer as well? Because it's a big failure of Govt departments that DM has to raid everywhere. Thanks Rawat Ji.
Under the forest act 1927. A sawmill or ara machine is defined as equipment that is capable of cutting logs 30cm or larger in dia. The machine shown in the video is not capable of doing so. It is a 300mm ( throat) band saw with no more than an 1 to 1.5hP horse power. Used by furniture makers to resize material for specific uses. It is also used to cut curves. There is no way you can cut green logs with that. If the matter goes to court the owner should present the machine in court and ask the forest dept to cut a log to prove their case. In this case ignorance on the part of the authorities has resulted in unnecessary harassment. As far as the raw lumber in the yard, that is another story. Paper work and records should have been on hand and presented when requested.
you should have that knowledge while owning these machines . there would be no need to prove court about these machines if they have cleared themselves about these machines during this raid ..Raid is all about to clear yourself from allegations that you are not guilty and has not done anything wrong 😗
