Great detailed reaction! Thank you. There's not a single bad song with Be'lakor. All of them are great. And the more you listen to them, the more you get hooked up and just cannot stop. There's something out of this world about them.

    It's certainly about a plague.
Sickness upstream, blight of the bone, dawn found him ailing, delirium rife
. Those he loved feared his illness would wander, and with tears in their eyes, through confusion and cries, out towards the wild flames he was dragged.
Sad but Beautiful song. I really like the last verse in particular.

Literally my favorite melo death band. My favorite by them is "Remnants". The guitar work is out of this world. Check it out brother.

The story is actually about this tribe member drinking from the river and getting ill because there is a corpse upstream(this corpse is from another song on the album). His tribe burns him alive because they are scared that he will make them sick.

If you want your mind blown I'd suggest the song 'in parting', but make sure to add the intro song 'to stir the sea.' Only an extra minute or so but adds a whole extra element to the beauty of the track

This is the last song on Vessels wich is a concept album. What I take from the lyrics is about the man who drinks water from a river and gets sick overtime and the tribe fears that it contagious and his tribe sacrifices him for the virus not too spread. As his family members watch him burn to stop the virus from spreading. That's what I take from the lyrics.

You've got to do more Be'Lakor. They don't have a bad song so pick anything!

There's a reason I showed you Abeyance first. Most people react to this first, but I've always liked Abeyance better. Of course, everything by this band is awesome, but still.

Glad that you did, I think it was a good order to listen to the songs in. Very excited to hear more from this band.

Been listening to these guys for a few years now and they never disappoint. Great reaction.
As you like Lyric videos give Ne Obliviscaris - Devour me Colossus a go. It's not official but a job well done.

So, got a band you should check out.....band's called Seven Spires. Check out The Paradox or Cabaret of dreams (or both.) Very solid power metal with hints of extreme metal with a KILLER female vocalist.

Nice analysis. Your first hunch about the lyrics was correct. :)

You should give Kittie - Burning Bridges a listen. Pretty cool song and a big departure from their early Nu metal sound. I would say it's a mix of Death and groove metal. Pretty cool song.
