Look at the SA gauge, it refills when you switch from blade to axe mode. I think this is why he does it. Also in axe mode you run faster so better to dodge and the spinning move used to go from axe to sword deals ton of damage.
I'm honestly confused how a sliver of white sharpness never runs out during this. I have to be missing something, right? Not hating because Canta is amazing, just genuinely curious.
Berny PE This set is designed to hit weak points for weakness exploit. Making affinity 100%. And with the drachen set, Crits don’t lose sharpness. If you add more handicraft you either lose out on damage or affinity.

"TA rules" stands for time attack rules. They are limitations set if a person wants to have a hunt recognized as an official speedrun. They include not using certain items, skills, or even moves during the hunt. You can look up the official rules, it will show you everything that's allowed/not allowed.

Master’s touch activates while wearing 4 pieces of Drachen Armor. Master’s touch prevents your weapon from losing sharpness on every critical hit.
Vok ah okay thank you! I wasn't for sure if drachen had masters touch but that was the only thing I could think of. Haven't played in awhile.
