Easy to follow verbal and physical instructions on mounting front and rear lights with close up views. No degree in technology needed to understand. Granted *****5 stars

AWESOME. All the way from Italy, where dyna-hubs are very rare, I found a Northern European bike on a great offer in a faraway online shop, and just to get rid of one my big size, unsold for years, the guys swapped the front wheel with a dynamo one (and both lights) from a different bike.
We're talking gravel/tourers but even then, my locals are weight weenies. I'm not!! Lol and would rather have the dynamo for all-night randonées :D
I'll have to fiddle with wires to connect the rear light, and your video has just spared me... and the only electrician friend i have (and he wouldnt be there for a solid month and it's start of summeeeeeer...!!) a GREAT bother.
    Real Godsend!!
    Cheers mate!!!

Hi there! I apologise for not replying sooner. I'm thrilled to hear that the video was helpful for you! It sounds like you have quite the bike setup going on, and I'm glad you found a way to incorporate the dynamo hub. I hope you enjoyed your summer randonnées! Cheers!

@@cyclemaintenanceacademy hey my friend, you won't believe it but i procrastinated just until TODAY to start working at the wires and lights, and i was really upset to find your vid again!
(Thankfully the title allows for a good search and find) However, i saw the hearted comment just now in my mail and was like, wow!
      Fellow cyclist telepathy 😁
Summer is over now, in the Western Alps I climbed first time (bags and all) the passes 2300+ meters high, up to 2744 (Colle dell'Agnello).
Did the last one 10 days ago, Colle Fauniera famous for the Giro d'Italia, up near the summit - with noone else around in miles - I joined a very mellow guy doing his relaxed descent... with dynamo too... turned out he was from Sheffied!
      Small world indeed,
And yes must say the dynamo light helped me a lot not just on night randos, but also on those crazy gradient descents as a little extra braking help lol
Sorry for these super long comments but... great coincidence. Always helps!
Now i'll fiddle on my folding bike too (from my uk years, a Dawes Jack 2011), as i see d-hub wheels are available online.
So useful, keep up the good work!
      And *thanks* 😇😌✌️✌️✌️

Excellent video thank you! I have a road bike with a standard road fork and Shimano Dura-Ace R9100 brake calipers. Do you have a video mounting a dynamo system to a "race" road bike?

      @cyclemaintenanceacademy  8 месяцев назад

Hi and thanks for your kind words! While I don't currently have a video specifically covering the installation of a dynamo system on a road bike, your request is noted. I'll definitely consider creating such content in the future. In the meantime, if you have any questions or need assistance with anything else, feel free to ask.🙂

I would route the tail light wire underneath the rack so that it doesn't get crushed when you use the rack.

Please tell me how to restore the built-in light on the Gazelle fork? 🙏 ruclips.net/user/shortsaY0M54ZoFUc?t=24&feature=share

Apologies for not replying sooner! I'm not an expert in Gazelle's built-in lights, but I hope by now you've been able to figure out how to fix the issue. If you have managed to restore the light, it would be great if you could share what worked for you, as it could help others facing the same problem. Thanks,
