What is ford thinking ??? You have a great market for trucks. Build and sell what your customers want. Forget the electric truck. You have a vacant factory in Canada. Why not use that to make trucks. And make MONEY. Get your head out of your ass. !!! 0:06
Why is it going to take over a year to start building trucks at that factory Didn’t they build trucks there in the past how many years ??? Come on management get it together. It format take a lot of brains to get a factory back up and funning again.
@@dondear9474 No we built Ford Edge Lincoln Nautilus Ford Flex and Lincoln MKT since 2007-2008. The flex and MKT were phased out late 2019. The Lincoln nautilus was phased out late 2023 and the Ford Edge last build date was May 3, 2024. The plant was supposed to be retooled for two 3 row EV crossovers then they changed the plan to build super duty. The EVs were delayed til 2027 then outright cancelled. The plant is currently getting gutted so I guess installation of new tooling and construction of the new stamping plant will start next year for a mid 2026 launch.
@@Jaycee604 thanks JC. I do remember seeing some cars but lots of trucks in the past there. Hope they can get things up and running sooner. I am a ford car fan. Have new and old ones. I did drag racing in old fords as well. Trued to buy a new Mustang. Most dealers buy me did not have inventory . Have to contact a dealer in Flordia to get what I wanted. Dealers here. Said order now and get in end of December or mid January. Really !!! Drive a new Mustang convertible in December or January in the cold and snow. Wow. Thanks.
@@dondear9474 You sound like a true blue Ford man, I hope they can get you your order sooner than that. It would be great if Ford started up the plant sooner but I’m not holding my breath.
It will end up getting cancelled altogether.

They are now using the vacant plant in Canada to start building Super Duty pick ups at Oakville Assembly Complex in 2026. You raised a great point!
