I think the fuel line depressurizes after the car sits for a while.

Wow. So it is true. The Ford-Mercury-Lincoln"s 302 was indeed less noisy so far. The 302"s used to ran mostly quiet and smoothly; giving the impression of turning off when their AOD's transmission reached it's overdrive. However, the GM 305"s (Not sure if the nice machine on video has one on board or maybe, the well-reputed 4.3 litre. Pardon me if such detail is distinguish) was more powerful. Barely, but it was. However, not for an unknown coincidence GM began to lose 91 thousand customers since 1985. Customers that never returned. Not for the same reason the phantom platforms of the Crown Vic up to the legendary Town Car saw their life extended up to 2012. Any way, the 80"s represented the end of an era of real fine, rear-wheel drive cars. Insuperable with respect their suspension. Insuperable with respect their air conditioning system. Everything easy to fix, mount and replace. Elegancy without scarifying their simple mechanical structure. May I remind you all that the Caprice gave the reason why GM had a formidable contestant for Ford in the luxurious Cady Fleetwood Brougham, who reached his best years-ever between 1990-1992. Think so for the Caprice Classic LS Brougham for the 1987-1990 models. That 1/4 vinyl-made top, with such a unique long and striking coach lamp made them great to look at. Seems you're a lucky guy. Take care of that Chevy.
