That "imaginary" being in the sky took away my insomnia, killed my depression, removed the voices in my head, brought me closer to a totalitarian father and took away the hate and anger in my heart and replaced it with peace and love. I don't want to turn you away by preaching, but all I ask is that you at least consider Him a possibility. You like logic? Think about this; if you think about logic, it is illogical because you can always think of a logical contradiction to everything, even logic.

Ha. One time I was in my Sunday youth class and I had my ear buds in. The teacher asked what I was listening to. I explained it was christian death metal. He said he liked AILD, so we pretty much spent the rest of the class time headbanging to heavy metal. Our teacher is a young guy, so he is flexible.
Its been amazing to watch these guys grow as artists and become the huge powerhouse that they are today. The contrast in the overlapping vocal styles in this song makes it incredible!
The most relevant metalcore band of my christian career... Their sound and expression of faith is very in line with mine... I love this band, from the deepest of my heart. God Bless WOA!!

Even as an atheist (plz don't flame :( ), I have a lot of respect for these guys. One of the very few talents of the Christian genre that dares to be different, and really succeeded in what they aimed to achieve. War of Ages, keep up the amazing work, and while we may sit on different sides of the fence on religion, my hat comes off to you for your amazing work. I hope you inspire more to break the bonds of this otherwise painfully stale genre and create new amazing work.

I'm the sound guy for the youth group at my church and I play WoA through the speakers every Sunday[: And the only reason people don't have these bands playing as worship bands is because the majority doesn't like it, and the majority likes/tolerates softer rock.
The clean vocals are performed by Mark Randazzo. Mark has been touring with WOA for a little over a year now and has become a great friend of the band. They asked him if he would be willing to sing the clean vocals, which would allow [vocalist] Leroy to experiment more on his vocal delivery. Mark happily accepted, which turned out to be great for the record as a whole.
Unlike half the people on youtube, I respect people's beliefs lol. This allows me to very open minded and as a bass player in my own band, I simply love music. It just happens that some of my most favorite bands and songs spread the word of god lol Mad respects to you as well and your taste in music
I think it's because we both enjoy the music and not blindly going on about religion. I love these bands and I'm agnostic. Who cares? I just enjoy good music
