Hello, Dr. Webb I tried finding many doctors for shadowing but they never replied back to me as they were too busy in their schedule. Could you give me some tips on how to find a potential doctor for shadowing. Thanks
Does being an Air Force veteran from a career field not related to medical help at all? I’ve won awards like levitow ! Can you put that on applications ?
Great video Dr. Webb! Would you ever consider making a video about getting straight A’s in medical school? Is it even possible? I know the amount of material you cover is med school is 10x that of undergraduate. Thanks so much!
Good suggestion! I will look into this! Make sure to subscribe to be on the look out for this and upcoming new videos posted every MWF at 5pm CST! A. Webb www.antoniowebbmd.com twitter.com/drwebb82 facebook.com/awebbmd ruclips.net/user/antoniowebbmd instagram.com/overcomingtheoddsbook
Hello Dr Webb, I completed an internship some years ago at a chiropractors office while obtaining a tech certificate. My question is could i use this as experience on my app for med school even though it wasnt done during my undergrad classes. It was done prior to me attending college. Thanks
Can you talk about like combined programs like the MSP program at University of Miami! Maybe tips on the SAT because you do need a 1300+ for consideration for the program

Thanks for the information. Do I have to obtain a Master's to enter Medical School? I am obtaining my Bachelors online but want to attend Medical School studying Medical Examiner.
No. You do not need a masters degree to enter medical school. You only need a bachelors degree, and to have taken the necessary “pre-medical” courses to sit for the MCAT. Good Luck and Happy Learning!
Premedical courses? Can those be taken at a community college? I'm so ready to attend Medical School. I have more questions, but I'll resarch regarding the classes to take. Thanks so much Dr. Webb
Yes. There are a set of courses that pre-medical students need to take in order to sit for the "MCAT", or the "Medical College Admissions Test." Think of this test as the ACT, or SAT but for Medical School. Generally, topics covered on the MCAT are General Chemistry, Biochemistry, Organic Chemistry, Physics, Biology, and usually some other classes that are specific to each medical institution such as Calculus, Cell and Molecular Biology, and Genetics. These courses may be taken at a community college, however I must stress that MOST medical schools require you to have a bachelors degree to attend their institution.
Either one will be good. There is no correct way to do it. If you do shadowing first, the person you shadow may have research projects that you can help on. That's one reason to do it this way
Hello everyone i'm currently 22 and I was planning on enlisting to the Air-force as a " Enlisted Emergency Management". Will this count as clinical experience when applying to medical school?
Military experience looks good on applications and since i was a medic in the air force, the medical terms and conditions we were taught in medical school were familiar
What kind of medical experience is highly recommend? Thank you!
Any type of medical experience is good

Would you recommend applying into med school without a bachelors? I’m about to star my Pre-health Professions program
I think most medical schools require you to have your degree before you start so you would need to complete that before starting!

Thanks again. Praying that I pass Algebra for Business at school. I hate math but will be attending a community college for the premedical courses.
What would you recommend to do first research or shadowing ?
Either one will be good. There is no correct way to do it. If you do shadowing first, the person you shadow may have research projects that you can help on. That's one reason to do it this way
What would you realistically consider to be a competitive MCAT score?
I was wondering what is your opinion on pre-Med programs are? Also, do you think that research is necessary?
Research is helpful but not required. Find a project you enjoy and dont do it just to have it on paper. Also, pre med programs are a good choice.
Thank you!

Did your military experience give you any advantage in the process to becoming a doc?
Military experience looks good on applications and since i was a medic in the air force, the medical terms and conditions we were taught in medical school were familiar
Will any medical schools accept CEU transcripts or certificates?
No, i dont believe so
