1° Slalom Salita Casina-Carpineti 2021 Highlights - A112 Proto, Lancia Delta, KartCross & More!

- On a hot Sunday at the end of August, the 1st Slalom Salita Casina-Carpineti 2021 took place; we are in the middle of the Reggio Emilia Apennines. Over fifty participating cars plus a few trailblazers gave entertainment and fun by completing 2 test manches and three HillClimb races. We were, therefore, able to see the competitors at work five times on a stretch of road that was most recently paved. This kind of competition is always a lot of fun, there's a relaxed atmosphere among the participants, and the variety of cars competing is the most disparate. We find Peugeot 106, Renault Twingo and Clio, Lancia Delta Proto, Subaru Impreza, small prototypes with a motorcycle engine, KartCross and Formulini, one after the other in an increase of speed and performance. In una calda Domenica di fine Agosto è andato in scena il 1° Slalom Salita Casina-Carpineti 2021, ci troviamo nel medio appennino reggiano. Oltre una cinquantina di auto partecipanti più qualche vettura apripista hanno regalato spettacolo e divertimento compiendo 2 manches di prova e tre gare di salita. Per cinque volte quindi abbiamo potuto vedere i concorrenti all'opera in un tratto di strada per la maggior parte di recente asfaltatura. Questo genere di competizioni è sempre molto divertente, si respira aria rilassata fra i partecipanti e la varietà delle auto in gara è la più disparata. Troviamo Peugeot 106, Renault Twingo e Clio, Lancia Delta Proto, Subaru Impreza, piccoli prototipi con motore da moto, KartCross e Formulini, uno dietro l'altro in un crescendo di velocità e prestazioni. Sono d'accordo, ultimamente li seguo sempre più spesso perchè sono davvero divertenti, c'è sempre un'ottima varietà di auto ed un bel numero di partecipanti 👍

Le cronoscalate sono sempre belle da vedere, poi con queste riprese fatte veramente bene ,come al solito, sono anche meglio . L'auto con il miglior sound (questione di gusti) l'ho vista in un video della Caprino Spiazzi (cronoscalata storica che facevano dalle mie parti) del 2009 quando la gara era ancora ufficiale da quello che mi ricordo.

@@Italiansupercarvideo Io sono riuscito ad andare solo alle rievocazioni storiche che non hanno fatto gli ultimi due anni causa covid. Si vociferava di fare una gara vera e propria nel 2020 ma è saltato tutto. È una bella strada da godersi con una bellissima vista sul lago di Garda

Not sure which is my favorite sound, they all sound great. Ok, I am sold....the Hayabusa engined FIAT 500s are best. I hate chicanes. Edit: the bike engined cars make the rest sound like tractorria!
I understand your thoughts on chicanes, but this is a specific kind of race. Otherwise, it would be a Hillclimb race and not a slalom. But I assure you that they are equally fun to watch. In addition to the Fiat 500, the Autobianchi A112 with motorcycle engine that I put on the cover is truly spectacular 👍
