Bad screen, everything is blurry due to 1080p, bad battery life (getting around 4h15mn of screen on time) and okayish cameras. This is a disappointment of a phone. Especially at this price point. Really wish I hadn't bough it .

my first premium phone i ever had was the galaxy s8 and i seriously loved it. a year later, i switched to Apple ( XR ) to give it a shot and now i’m definitely going back to Samsung. my experience with Samsung was MUCH more enjoyable than my current experience with Apple since they have so many features apple doesn’t

I'm coming from the S20 Ultra to the S21 (256 GB) and I couldn't be happier! I got so tired of big heavy phones with glass backs, curved displays and really bad auto focus issues . I simply could not get my S20 Ultra to focus! That issue went from night to day with the S21! AWESOME CAMERA! I've also never understood the obsession with glass backs when most people use a case anyway. I thiink the plastic just means it's lighter, more durable and it just makes more sense to me. I got excited when I found out it would come with a plastic back and flat screen. That just made me want it more. The only drawback is that my S20 Ultra had INSANE battery life but I can live with charging the S21 a little more often. I have chargers everywhere I look from other Samsung products I've owned over the years. Overall, the S21 is a home run for me!

Mindblowing thing that the charger is no longer included, never encountered this in my life lol. They should deduct that from the price imo
That's part of the reason it is $200 less than last years S20....
Upgrading to this after having an lg g6 for 4 years. Excited to see how much has changed with smartphones in those 4 years. Also got a wireless charger to go with it and it's crazy to me that phones can charge without physically plugging it in.
Same for me, had a g6 for 4 years and just ordered the s21. How's the experience so far?

The best drills and driver around are made of very high quality and impact plastic . I have no issues with plastic back of phone as long as its strong plastic
And they pass on high savings to customer.

Awesome review totally helped me make up my mind 👍🏻👍🏻 coming from an s8 i was planning on going for the s21 until my friend starting confusing me and giving me mixed feelings for the s21+. I am personally not a fan of a huge phones so thats why i originally preferred the s21 and i shall be sticking with that now ✌🏼✌🏼
I come to your channel for all things galaxy and I appreciate your feedback on these phones. I've been an apple user since 2016. My husband recently came home with the s21 for us as our new phones. I wanted to hate it but instead now love my s21, so much that I completely forgot about my iPhone lol. I'm so glad I have this phone, the performance is great and I love how this phone feels in my hands. I'm excited to see more Samsung products in the future.
I recently upgraded to an iPhone 12, 128 GB in Purple (I Love the purple) for my main cell carrier and to a S21, 256 GB in Phantom Gray (I also Love it, very sleek) for my second carrier.
And in all honesty, these phones are really great value. They both have the same internals as their Pro and Ultra versions, their cameras both still have their respective pro video modes, both still have 5G. Basically the same for much less. Also I don’t even notice that the S21 has a plastic back unless I’m holding both it and the iPhone, and even then it doesn’t feel super lightweight and cheap since it still has an aluminum frame and the matte texture is just awesome.
I also think the removal of the sd card slot on the Samsung wont be a big deal for most people. I’m having a hard time filling it up to even just half. Heck even on my 128 GB iPhone I’ve only used 60GB, the same on my S21.
I bought a S21, coming from an S10+ the only thing I'm worried about is going to a smaller screen

I just noticed there is a thin plastic film around the edges that can come off. Should I peel it off? Any chance of helping the fact that maximum call volume is too low to my taste?

Also, the s21 has 8 gig ram, s20 has 12 gig. Why would Samsung ditch the micro SD card for expandable storage? I, like many, don't like storing stuff on the cloud so I appreciate the micro SD card.

So I have an iPhone XR. But I’d like to upgrade which one would be the better choice from that phone the s21 or the plus model.
I don't care about the plastic back, we all put cases on the phone anyway. I did the samsung trade in and I'm excited for mine to come in on Wednesday. I only paid $200 for a fully unlocked, with a case and gaming handset.

Excellent videos on the S21 series. For me it also comes down to the S21 and S21 Plus. The gray and black models both very sharp and low-key chic. That said, the Violet w two tone scheme is dope. 👍

I got my samsung s21 guys I have LG velvet and samsung 21 belive me I really liked LG velvet than samsung s21 take my word and buy LG velvet for 350 dollars and don't waste 790 or 800 dollars on this s21. I'm really impressed with LG velvet the phone display is so smooth .if you can get samsung for 450 or 500 for trade in its fine but if you want to spend 700 to 800 on this shit s21 go for LG velvet

Agreed thats enough perfect size screen does not big and does not small. The only odd is the 3x zoom that was not really optical hardware just cropping the 64mp.
How is the battery life doing for you guys that have had the phone for a couple of weeks? I've read that the battery is quite bad for some but it gets better by time.

I have a regular s20 from last year. On one hand, S21 has the same camera, better chipset, better refresh rate. On another hand, the display on the s20 is better, the back on the s20 is better, the phone itself is cheaper. I think if anyone wants s21 they have to watch the s20FE video or wait for S21FE later this year.
Fair points on the S20 but I think the sizing of the S20/21 vs S20FE is worth keeping in mind. S20FE is definitely a bigger phone, S20/21 is more manageable for 1 hand use
And don't forget expandable storage.

The s20 doesn't have a better display plus the better refresh rate IS A BIG THING like from 60hz to 120hz is a big difference
The display is better with higher refresh rate than with qhd, 4k type displays dont make a difference under 60" its a selling gimmick for.dummies

Just fyi, S21 is listed as 6.2 but the width is pretty small, it's a very vertical phone...my old 8+ plus was 6.2 as well but a lot wider. Heck even my S5 is wider than the S21...so just fyi if you do not want a vertical 6.2inch phone.

I'm currently using a oneplus 6 and I hate it. I saw my mom's s21 and ordered one for me and my husband within 3 hours 😂 it was niceeee. I would recommend ditching the OnePlus 6.

Does the camera lens glass not get marked or damaged easily with it protruding out the back off the phone.
The actual camera lens glass is recessed into the camera bump..if that makes sense lol

Can the s21 cast to tv without using Chromecast or a router, i.e. just using WiFi data? I don't have a router, just use my unlimited data on T-Mobile. I'm cheap, just use my data for internet.

They are removing accessories. Next would be you have to purchase the camera separately. Seriously people need to boycott these companies.. not a good trend. I can understand the headset but the power brick???

I don't expect anything handed to me for free, you should be the one to grow up and know that you pay for everything given to you in a cell phone box. Now you can be sure that you pay also for what you're not given in the box.
I'm hearing a lot of talk about the Note series being discontinued and as sad as that is (I'm a note fan its a fantastic phone) I also heard that they might not be making a Note 21 which is disappointing to me because I still have the note 10+ only because I didn't see that much of a difference between it and the note 20 so I wanted to wait. I hope at the very least if they do discontinue it that they make the note 21 and make it the best phone on the market I hope the note series goes out with a bang rather than it slipping away like it never existed 😕

My issue with this phone is that this is what the s20 should have been..
Tweaks in the software and optimization.
They give you like a maximum of 300 discount for the trade in.
But... That doesn't cover the slight changes that chould have been from start.

I've purchased the S21 5G, but the screen is so easy to scratch. I've noticed an edge around the front camera which is off center of the camera.
Could it be some extra protection from the factory? Normally the front camera and screen would be perfectly flat.

I liked the previously curved edges of samsung's screen. I love the curved edge screen on my s10.

Looks like a good phone and I would have bought if not for the Exsynos processor, I still not convinced that the new one is better. I rather get my hands on a snapdragon version

I use the finger print scanner all the time and it works well when your hands are dry. Haven't tried it when my hands are wet
I mean when your hands are very dry it doesn't register for me on note 10 plus. Others have reported this as well

The base S21 also doesn't have UWB found in the high-end models.
Sad to say it, but my wife's S20FE is a better phone than S21. NO.1. Same refresh rate. NO 2. Bigger screen. NO 3. Charger in the box . NO 3a. She got free Galaxy Buds Plus. And the big NO 4. 256gb and a Micro SD slot.
