Rehana Sultan is an Indian film actress best known for her debut role in the acclaimed 1970 film Dastak which won her the National Film Award for Best Actress. A graduate of Film and Television Institute of India (FTII), Pune, she is also known for another bold role in the film Chetna (1970), which got her typecast thus ending her film career, despite its promising start.
Born and raised in Allahabad to Bahá'í parents, she graduated from the High School in 1967, and got selected in the same year to study acting at FTII
Rehana Sultan was born on November 19, 1950 in Allahabad, Uttar Pradesh, India. She is an actress, known for Dastak (1970), Hum Rahe Na Hum (1984) and Putt Jattan De (1983). She was previously married to B.R. Ishara.

Filmy world is heartless. Someone should offer respectable role to Rehana. She is not begging. She is good actress and deserves it. That is best way to help her live in this world.
Its not heartless its just like any other profession.the fact is that this fimi heroine do multiple affair compromise with any one to get roles n success but when old age come they want decent n rich husband.shotcut dont work always, sometimes it fails.

No one held her on a gunpoint to do the things/roles she did. This is such a lame excuse given by so many washed up actresses that FILMMAKERS made them do this and that. Why do these actresses agree to do so? If a person is ready to compromise his/her values for getting a leverage in career, then he/she should have no right to say that he/she has bwwn used. Film industry ne bandook ki nok pe majbur nahi kiya hai kisi ko bhi jism ki numaish karne ko. Zimmedari se bhaagna hai bas logon ko aur dusron pe ilzam lagana hai.
