- In a clash between traditions and modernity, Gunjan, 28, a successful software engineer, agrees to participate in the ‘Dekh Dekhai’ tradition for her mother’s happiness. So true, my friend was 28 when she decided to marry and she was told by the boy's mother that she is only suitable to marry a widower or divorcee.
To be honest that is the real problem even much educated people still treat their son like a prince and their daughters as a burden and especially mothers and grandmothers.......I have tried to explain my family that you must not do such things and literally mere bhai ko sar pe chadha rakha hai.....ghar me khana tak uske pasand ka banta hai baithe baithe khana pani milta and and nani / dad is toh lad pyar hi karti rehti hai even after him throwing a tantrum ..shouting and being disrespectful towards them or even me ..I mean you guys don'thave self respect let it be i have mine..happy to be going soon from this house for studies.

I remembered my dekh-dikhai n my poor hubby was so nervous but very honest in giving all information about himself that I fell in love on first day itself. Just like the girl in the video, I was more qualified than my husband and couldnt cook. but he never made me feel bad about it n I learnt slowly.
All traditional marriages are not horrible nor scary ! It depends on the families n your future spouse. I am married for 15 years now n cant imagine a single day without my husband. It doesnt matter HOW you meet but rather you SHOULD meet the right person.
So proud of such a mom. And the lovely lil sister ❤❤

I just love this lady..we need these type of women in our life and society..
My husband can't cook, so after marriage I faced some household chores problem. Then we hired a cook maid and managed it well. Till date I have househelps who take off a lot of burden and helps in the smooth running of household. My husband helps me all out of house works including weekly rations, groceries etc.
One thing very good about Lifetak channel is that it keeps the climax like reality while it lacks in other channels. Very nyc video and younger sister acting is so cute... especially when she says Google 😂

Ladka ya ladki both are equal. When a woman is working and sharing the financial burden of the family equally to a man then a man should also share the households. Well presented.
This reminded me of my dekhdikhai. When my mother in law asked me what all can you cook. I said very basic rice daal . She replied “no worries “ my son knows how to cook other things. You both can manage well. And that’s when I got fidaa on my MIL without even seeing who is the guy.
But later on, when my marriage was fixed, some relatives had come to see me just for formality, and what they did was still shocking for me. They said “saree utne ache se pehni nahi hai, aao hum thik se pehna de.” And their real intention was to check my body.. and see if I have any lacking anywhere.
I was so angry. I would have said No to the marriage. But my would be fiancé said, they are not even family. Some formality wale relatives. Why bother them. I also had such sweet experience with MIL I went ahead with marriage.
It’s going to be 10 years now. My husband and MIL have been blessings for me in my life.

Amazing concept of the video 👌🤘. Here daughter' s mom is shown broadminded & supportive but usually we don't get to see these types of Mom in person . Either they show forcefully marriage or Emotional blackmail things . But these things end to need soon as possible.
We need more such people in the society who are broadminded...I hope our generation becomes one

Many of my college mates who are working women and are earning a good salary.......are still single and there parents don't force them to get married also. I think that if the girl is financially independent in today's times then she is doesn't requires a male figure or a husband in her life much 😊😊
