He was being very gentle tossing everything at it. makes me doubt how durable that glass actually is. if thats the case why not have a sacrificial panel in a frame in front of the tubes? if large hail or a branch hits then the replaceable sacrificial panel would break and not the tubes. you would just have to replace the panel. could be coated so when/if it breaks the plastic holds it together.

Why not put put a panel in front of that panel so no panels break exept the front panel and put another one so that one doesent break

Did you ever experience hail?
Hail is not one ice cube hitting single spot on tube,it's doznens and dozens hits on tube in almost same time..and that's something what everyone like to see before buying
