I think what Groove was trying to say in relation to something I've said in the past is, compounding average actions early is better than waiting for great actions later. In a nutshell, don't let perfect be the enemy of good.
I loved this video. So very instructive with both the general game play comments and the specific mapping out of each individual game. I'm on my third time through this video for that reason. You are both great teachers, so thanks! The "things about stuff" G rated modification made me laugh and laugh! Good stuff and very entertaining! Personally, I think the best part of the video, however, is the awesome spirit of kinship between two great players. The positive community of diverse persons who find this unique kinship battling and yet still encouraging one another over this game is really what keeps me coming back to the Tournament Discord. Great job on another video!

I know some people like the shorter videos at a faster pace, and some people like the longer ones at a slower pace. I’ll try to have a mixture of these going forward.

@ 24:19 if instead of the cowbird Groove would have took a fish & rerolled for a cherry he could have titmoused the turkey next turn, playing both an EOR card & 2 cherry bonus birds. That not only gets the fish for but also a target nest for the goldeneye. Flan did reroll a cherry the following turn.
Flan didnt advise groove to get grain for turkey to use crow for double play - smug flan, sus sus!
