I remember back in 2007 a metro train driver used to film like this and uploaded them to RUclips. A few of us were follows anyway the media got in and he was plastered on page 2 with quotes we were saying back to him, I’m glad your allowed to do this.
@@PurdieFamily yes, I also am happy I have the blessing of Vline and other rail companies to be able to bring these to everyone. Very happy you enjoy them. 👍😀
I enjoy being able to hear the communication between yourself and the control centre in these videos. I feel it really adds an extra layer to the behind the scenes style you provide.
@@driver667 Yes, they are great. I'm so glad we have you doing this for us train nerds out there. What a great idea for a RUclips channel; a train driver uploading content from his job.
As I'm watching you pass Oakleigh and observe the space where the third/inbound rail used to be, my mind taking a nostalgia trip, the police action nabs my attention and suddenly I want to know what happened.
@@CosmicRat-ku9ow if you mean the crossovers that were removed at Caulfield, yes. It's a bad idea they were removed. Now if there is a problem on the line between Richmond and Caulfield, there is no way around and either the Pakenham or the Frankston just stops. 🤔👍

That's a Good Question!

There was a stabbing on a train at Huntingdale.
RIP Frankston crossover points

how do you get videos like this, how do they allow you to sit or put a camera in the cab

I am the driver and the camera just quietly sits there and does it's job with no contact required from me at all. 👍😀
Very well-behaved camera, and it just quietly does the filming without any fuss

Looked like a lot of mud holes on this trip.
Your observations would be correct. 😀😀👍

VicPol would have made a request to Metrol
@@exzoxv yes it was via Metrol, the Metro control centre. 👍😀
