I've really been looking forward to getting a 3D printer not just for stuff like that but also for tabletop and just for stuff I'd like to make and put on a shelf or wall. It would also facilitate some of my cosplay endeavors. God the amount of Halo armor I'd make 👁👄👁
At 30 years old, one of my best mates was complaining that he just couldn't have sex. He'd find a nice girl at the bar, they'd come home with him, but nothing happened and she'd go home. Every time. Extremely reluctantly, he packed up all his Warhammer crap and we took him out for some drinks. The next day, he had a massive grin on his face.
And then I just use gummy bears for the enemies and Lego figurines for the tokens. Had a one shot I ran for my fam on thanksgiving and used a bumblebee toy for the boss. It was super fun. I’d love to have even just a small display of mini’s.
