Is Great Serpent a reference to Ultima 7: Serpent Isles where you run around to fix the serpents at the heart of the universe. The 3 Cosmic Serpents are Balance, Order and Chaos. When the serpents are not aligned the universe starts to become more chaotic leading to really weird shit like aggressive ghosts, people going crazy, storms that zap up your items, earthquakes, volcanoes, 40 years of darkness, cats and dogs living together, mass hysteria!

It's honestly quite sad. Like I mentioned in the intro, dawnguard and dragonborn wasn't just a quick tack on, there was SO much quality content added to Skyrim. After playing Fallout London, which is a MOD, and comparing it to this, from a massive developer... it IS a disappointment.
I already beat it, it is bad, like it adds one solar system, some structures, guns, and around 17 quests (most main quests), story is bad, no space combat, and no real Role playing. Not worth 20 bucks or however much they are selling it for.
