  • You do NOT have to work minimum wage jobs as a student, there are other options that pay more! In this video, I'll share with you my experience of working as student, in a freelance job that paid me $3,000 per month for just 7-8 hours work max per week.

    Great story, but the fact of the matter is that such gigs are far and few between, most people will still have to slog their butts off to earn a penny at the end of the day.

      Yes, there are certainly fewer of those jobs that lower paying jobs, like with many things the structure is like a pyramid.

      I am not informed about the latest student regulations, I recommend checking out the canada.ca website for the latest. I heard though that there are some changes that allow you to work more hours than before. And yes you can certainly work freelance!
      That's a great idea, I was planning to visit Calgary, BANFF, but changed my travel plans this year. Will definitely cover it when I visit, cheers!

      @@LivinginCanada YEAAAAA BANFFF its in Alberta that’s what i am suggesting… Please go fast and vist and upload the videos 😅 if you book more for dec you will get for cheap it seems
      Yea for 2022 students it’s unlimited!! But now yes 20hrs per week but my question is how will they know? If i do freelancing they will pay to my bank acc right? They don’t use SIM for that so no problem right?

      The company I worked for has merged into a larger company since then and centralized their suppliers, so I don't believe this specific job exists anymore. I would recommend you to google freelance jobs for your particular niche. If you have design, social media related skills, try looking for companies in the entertainment sector. Cheers!

    Personal question shouldn't be asking but curious to know how much you make now?

    • @LivinginCanada
      @LivinginCanada  Год назад +2

      No problem about asking, but you're right I won't be disclosing that as I don't like talking about current earnings. But perhaps in the future I'll make a video on that!

      Not anymore, as the company was bought by a bigger one, and they were no longer hiring.
