Its better to remove the Rapunzelhar snake thingie first by tongs or forceps and then I use a leaf blower directed at a right angle to the mouth to use a venturi effect to get the dust-out and then apply the suction(reverse end of leaf blower I do it outside in the garden and the dust spews out and can be removed. I then keep it open and direct a blast from outside the bag and the dust exits out clearing all clogs. I do this once the bag shows an error and you can use one bag for 6 months at least till pore clogs up and then I change the bag .
I hate buying vacuum bags and wood rather just use a bagless container that you can open and empty. Im looking for a vac/mop combo that is bagless and has 2 spin brushes. Is there such a thing? This is an idea worth thinking about though.
note that the bag acts as the filter for the roomba. All that particulate matter you're sucking up from your floors and carpets is fine going into a 2-5 dollar paper filter because you're going to dispose it (at least that's the plan). You're going to feel the hurt a lot more when all that particulate matter gets into something more expensive (like a vacuum) who's filter isn't as replaceable as the little roomba bags. So by all means you can do this, but you might find that you're replacing your vacuum filters more often than not which can become pricier than just using a roomba bag
@@curtisgesell9770 I don't understand who on earth would buy one of these when it costs so much to "feed" them. Currently renting a room in a house where this is the only vacuum, owner hasn't bought new bags in weeks and so the place is getting filthy. Needed this video to keep me from having to babysit the damn vacuum and empty it every 5 minutes. It's ridiculous, how lazy can a person be that avoiding 5 minutes of vacuuming a day is worth wasting their money on this ridiculous product?
Took me a few minutes to do compared waiting for delivery of the new bags or taking a trip out to buy the new ones. If I happen to buy a few and have them on hand for the next time then, yes, maybe it is too much work.

How come nobody has made a bag/container using a 3D printer to fit these type vacuums.
This would be good for cleaning out my Kirby bags.
Good video thanks
They sell reusable cloth bags with a zipper too.

Thank you for your insight. This is a suggested solution if you run out of bags and need to vacuum while waiting for replacements.
Reuse once each bag would hardly make a difference but save huge at 20 bucks for 3 bags thanks for the video
