The story you mention, "1718" is a one-shot short story in the early Dark Horse Presents series from Dark Horse Comics. It's included in one of the Omnibus editions. Legend has it when DHC put out the adaptation of Predator 2, the fans swamped the mail room & e-mail account with requests for a story behind the flintlock pistol trophy. DHC quickly came up with "1718", the year on the pistol, & got it out there. I still have mine (the comic).
The year on the pistol is actually 1715, so Adolini had it made 3-4 years before his death (depending on what version of his story we’re talking about).
I just picked this figure up today. FYI for those who don't know. The two helmet sculpts glow in the dark, or at least under blue light. Neca is truly awesome with these Predator figures 💯
Should I get it I have the jungle hunter and I’m thinking about getting the old one the grey back but it just looks like a re-paint of a jungle hunter even the skulls and necklace it’s just a re-paint it looks like except the back
Looking at this Fig's colors. Remove ALL the gear/clothing possible, attach BAF sauron armwing to the back and find a new head. now you have a dragon person.
Hey spot did you ever find the light up eye feature on the horned helmet head and it has a removable plate that has the batteries and the on off switch and the directions are on the very bottom of box packaging.....hope you found it my friend
Hi,great review.is this the latest version of the Elder figure ! I noticed other versions have different colours especially noticeable on the plasma caster (I do prefer the gold as it reflects his name) his sword is also different in some cases to.what are your thoughts !
Sorry to nit pick but I believe it’s pronounced Yowt-ya. And the laser emitter is always on the right side of the helmet. Not the left. Other than that nerdesque nit picking rant. Great video review. You kept it very positive. Not to much verbal diarrhea. Thank you for doing this. I wasn’t aware of this figure’s existence before now. One question though. If this supposed to be the elder from the end of P2. Then why is it green?? He wasn’t green in the movie. Or is this what happens when he gets angry? Lol.

I love this figure my only issue was the pin in the plasmer caster wasn’t installed properly so it fell off.
Just got it, and it is awesome! Figure is great, only one minus Plasmacaster dropped off after 3 seconds, but fiting it again was an easy task.

One helmet sculpt actually does light up. Batteries included. You need a certain screw driver to open up to access the batteries.
