Good song, in that history immemorial of humanity, shows love can be challenging, right? In the screen play, "Almost Famous," in that it could have had the settings in the 1960s, truly touched my heart. Everyone knows that "fame" is one particular perspective of everyday life, and that is just one "thing" in the history of the human family. In some respects I related during the film viewing, "William Miller," however, it is by essays and research fact checking for essays and papers in school. That "epoch" lol, had just be decades ago, and I remember the 1960s, sometimes like it had been yesterday, and that has passed. The real hard fact of me being a conservationist of God given freedom of my personal belief in God is sacred, had been true and is true. Ok, I "confess" - even so, I did go through a "hippy" "faze" but never really felt comfortable as a "hippie," besides I had been a "yuppie" before that term had been coined. In that I relate to the character in the prose fiction screenplay, "William Miller," in that a young teen, I definitely could relate to "Penny Lane" not only because she was "lovable" in the screenplay fiction and vulnerable, but just because she had that certain something, je ne sais quoi, as the French folk say. In recent days I rewatched the film and saw the film practically frame by frame, and I sometimes wanted to "jump" in the film and offer help to "Penny Lane" but not like "William Miller" who had wide-eyed naivete`, but definitely more sensible. Besides, even at the same age or a little older, that could be tenuous at best, but I could in the screenplay relate a shoulder to lean upon, but as a first cousin not removed, brother and sister in the human family. Ok, enough of voluntary freedom of typed free speech, ok? Good today of days, and the blessing of human inherent need of "correct" just peace for inner life. 🕊
