@@christopherwhite6943 it says qhd in the video that would be 2160 x 1440 as well as 480 hz. While this is a “Samsung product” afaik the only oled panels that support this resolution and refresh rate are all made by LG electronics. it’s just differing hardware that drives the monitor and its settings and connectors between each vendor. The appeal of this monitor over existing versions of the same LG panel is that the dp 2.1 connector theoretically MAY allow native QHD 480 hz without display stream compression (DSC) however I have not verified this claim on real hardware. The benefit of this is less of a lag switching inputs or tabbing out of a game. (Previously with DSC you may have waited upwards of 20 SECONDS between tabbing out on this panel) Another issue is the longest cables on the market supporting dp 2.1 are: 1.2 meters supporting the uhbr20/uhbr13.5 (dp80/dp54) by club 3d 3 meters uhbr10 (dp40) by celink Therefore this monitor that has a theoretical bandwidth of 36.04 Gbps can be driven at a max of 3 meters without DSC.
