Links Fair is one of the most meaty kill moves in the game to land
Easily the most stylish character in the game
People who complain that "smash ultimate is too easy" or "isn't technical enough" don't play difficult or technical characters.
Links bomb has about 20 different trajectories to be launched just with Link interacting with it. His boomerang has endless ways to move and interact with the bomb too. If that isn't "technical" I don't know what is.

Honestly I like hearing people say Link is technical because I main him and it's a struggle. My friends like to call him easy mode because he has a sword and projectiles.
@MaSpoofs They can't even though I told them to play him if he's so good. They play Young Link instead who is just better than Link.
@@vidalzazueta4678 I beg to differ. Young link and room link are very easy to pick up because they come with a lot of confirms and less lag but to play link at his best. You've gotta master a shit ton of techniques to be able to pull them off correctly or else you'll be surely lacking. It takes commitment but once you are able to do those techniques with the muscle memory. It'll pay off really well because when used correctly. Links kit is fucking wild and one of the most broken in the game
@@misterzia01 Young Links frame data and end lag makes him better than Link and on top of being fast. You can just pick him up and go ham and get results while Link requires more commitment. Which is why I always said Link is a technical character with emphasis fundamentals. I guess fighting a good Link is harder than a Young Link.

As a link main, I get this stuff all the time! It's just always unintentional. boomerang, Nair, and bomb just work. It's stupid in a lovable way.

Yep. Exactly, it was impossible for Link to detonate it since he was in the ASA (up-B) animation
It's such a great trap against so many fire moves. Like Kirby's fire tackle move, Falcon Kick, Samus Missiles/Bombs, and Samus Fair on a platform, Mario's neutral-b, Incineroar's landing Up-B. But using it as a deadly mine against Charizard is probably my favourite, because Trainer players often switch to Charizard and then go for Flare Blitz at high percent so it can often kill.

Actually what happened is Charzard’s Flair Blitz detonated the bomb because of its fire property and blew him into Link’s spin attack. Link can’t detonate the bomb while using a move. Still cool though.

I just like how they made this Link different and distinct from the other two, it was like a needed diversity change, we couldn't have Young Link be so similar to adult Link, I mean we could, but I think the new bombs and no clawshot makes the differences clear and interesting.

Honestly, while Salem is probably the best Link of Ultimate, his Link is way less fun to watch then the Links of these players.
Link's new bomb tech is seemingly the biggest improvement ever compared to his old bombs.

lmao i fucking wish, BoTW Link is strong as fuck but Young Link is unfortunately much easier to use at a similar strength because of his insane frame data and fire arrows being fucking nuts
@@Sergeikins yeah he's much easier to use but he's not better. He wins some matchups much harder but also loses some harder while Link can basically deal with anything which is imo better for Tournament Consistency as you don't Need a secondary. Link also has much better results than Young Link
YourAverageLink Yeah but somehow that doesn‘t seem to translate into a better matchup spread for Yoink and if his matchups are worse it‘s hard to call him the better character, especially when Link does better against some of the more relevant characters in the meta. Link has more killpower, more range, much better ledgetrapping and edgeguarding, better oos options and the bomb rune which is basically a whole different character in itself. I agree that all Links are good and really close on the tier list but Link is definitely above Young Link. Tbh I think even Tink is better than Yoink, people are heavily sleeping on Tink at the moment, but they are still really close

I can respect BoTW Link’s play but as a Tink main I basically know that whatever options I have you two just have more specific ones to each encounter. Tink’s versatile but a very choppy play for amateurs like moi since the combo game is more like three types of combos, where Yink and BoTW have mix-ups and easier ability to knock opponents away *at will* rather than just constantly

Flare blitz is a fire based move, and sets off bomb automatically since remote bomb gets blown up once hit with fire-
The guy knew that, and immediately up b'd in the right spot directly as Zard was blown up into him. That was actually one of the smartest plays ever-

If you don't bomb drop nair to knock the bomb in an arc or roll along the ground you're either not playing Link
or playing against a rushdown character who will body you for those shenanigans.
