LORD, my heart is troubled and aching for a very long time now. I cry out for YOUR help. Help me thru these difficulties for YOU understand my struggles. Please pray for me and my children that’s all I need and want! Jesus is coming back soon! It’s vital to trust in Jesus even when we are going through a challenging situations. Jesus I trust in you even as I struggle providing for my children. Jesus hear my prayers. Since covid I fell on a terrible hardship. I lost my job for declining the vaccine. I declined due to my pre existing health conditions. I suffer from lupus, and heart disease. I’m a single mom, my husband is with God. My children are autistic. I’m overwhelmed because I’m struggling to provide for my children. I recently started homeschooling them because they were having so many issues in school including bullying. Their behavior is unpredictable, so it’s easier not to expose them to certain situations. That’s why homeschooling is working out great. I’m now waitressing and I’m so thankful but not making nearly enough. Jesus hear my prayers. Every month is a struggle not to end up on the streets with my boys. Every month I have a hard time coming up with rent. The devil wants me to give up but God won’t allow it. I have faith that God will provide he has this far. All things are possible through Jesus Christ Faith over fear! ❤

Today is my birthday and this message has hit me right between the eyes. First off Lisa Harper’s messages are just a gift God and can restore my fears through her love for the almighty God. At the end of her message as she shared with us the woman’s deep desire to worship and live within the grace and mercy of our God is so palpable you can’t deny his complete love for us….even in our human betrayals of his love he continues to find ways to call us back home to him. Praise to our God for his redemption’s when we fall.

Predestination and election are true.
I love God. Can you please explain how its okay to rape a woman and then make her marry her rapist. I am truly confused.
In a culture where a woman's livelyhood and life depended on the man, it would be providing provision for her. We do not live in that kind of culture now. He would have to provide for her.
I also wondered the same thing.
I also would like to understand that in context to that time.
In that culture, a woman who was no longer a virgin (because of rape or otherwise) was not considered an appropriate wife. The man could annul the marriage if she was found to not be a virgin on their wedding night. She likely would never marry and wouldn’t be able to have children after a rape.
In that culture, that would mean she would have no one to provide for her. Women weren’t usually educated and couldn’t own land. They weren’t even allowed to be witnesses in court because they were considered to be unreliable witnesses. She would be “punished” by the cultural standards of her day for the rest of her life for something that wasn’t her fault.
So God was punishing the rapist, not the woman, by requiring him to provide for her and any children that may come from the rape.
It also served to be a deterrent to rape because men knew they would have to “pay” for the act for years to come.

The Apostle Paul did NOT exchange his Godly calling of preaching the true gospel of Christ for traveling around the world selling SEMINARS on how to become a successful tent maker 😁 Jesus did not tell Peter to pay his tithes so that his fishing business would PROSPER immensely 😁 As a carpenter, I’m sure Jesus's did not DREAM of becoming a real estate tycoon, so that He might be able to share a testimony of how much God favored Him😁 Can you imagine just how WEAK and pitiful the Gospel would have been if those Godly men had chosen to abandon their faith in their God and had made it a point to pursue temporal worldly success instead? This is the very reason why the Church should NOT embrace those unbiblical types of Christian behaviors.
