This is my second all time favourite band. For over a decade I only listened to NightWish and Within Temptation! Then Tarja Turunen, the first Goddess of NW! (Yes yes I know what I am) 😋 You were absolutely on point with this, Lee 💞 This video is a very dramatic representation of the lyrics. “The smile when you tore me a part” makes me believe that she’s not just talking about deceivers, but people who are depraved since they take delight in their evil actions. For me anyway, that’s my impression of this as well and I feel like you really did well with it 💞 What have you done is another collab she does, it’s an older collab. And We Run is one of my favorites from her Hydra album, came out 6 years ago, really great collab she does in that one with a singer I’m not familiar with. But I’d love that one next. After a few more, definitely look at some live performances too. “Our Solemn Hour” is a great one from her Black Symphony tour 💞 Thanks Lee! Still my favorite reactor 🥰

@@damienmaynard8892 that’s a great idea! 😊 One item on my bucket list is to go to a concert of a band I enjoy 😋 Preferably Nightwish, but that’s at the top tier, and covid makes that dream seem too distant 😪 I’ve been obsessed with their live concerts on RUclips ever since March lol
the video is extremely hard to understand, especially given the lyrics of the song. I've never been able to get it, but maybe that's the point. You should check out Stand My Ground and Mother Earth next.
@@dac2007 I’ve also noted that some of my favorites of theirs have no videos. Angels is one of my favorites (having said that I’ve got like 20 favorites 😋) which is why I suggested it. But this video never made sense to me either 😋

@@dac2007 Mother Earth is an amazing track, and the album is good too. But by far, I love “The Silent Force” from beginning to end. So many strong songs (Jillian is still my favorite) - after that if you go with some newer music, I’d suggest “The Unforgiving” album 🥰 I’m not familiar with them live (but I know all their tracks and love 95% of their songs) since for me, WT was what I heard before NW, and ended up falling in love with NW more, but WT has never lost its appeal for me either. Those two albums are great (her newest one is amazing as well) you really can’t go wrong with WT imo 😘💞
Sharon doesn't always sing this high. You should check out listening to Sharon just under her name not Within Temptation. Sharon is self taught she used to ve in fashion so she makes her own pieces. She is beautiful
