Glory is a patriotic song to music by Mikhail Glinka from the final scene of the opera A Life for the Tsar (Ivan Susanin) (1836), the words to which are attributed to Vasily Zhukovsky and Yegor Rosen. The original version of the song was monarchical, the other became patriotic and was even sometimes considered as the unofficial anthem of Russia.
