Look very cool I hope the lighting is good as well . But for me original headlights from Hella manufacturer is the best choice but of course they must in a very good condition. In addition I installed standard hella front fog lights so I use them together and I'm happy .
For sure everyone has different taste and styles that’s what makes it all individual.
The light output in these is great especially with the loom upgrade and lamp upgrade! Bright clean light with good scatter pattern.
Have a look at the loom upgrade it will benefit standard lights too as all T4 vans suffer from voltage drop to headlights.

Hey so. I have these for my north american t4, 1993. I have the problem with dimly lit lights but I do not have a magic yellow clip. Can you tell me what that clip does on your van? I’m at a loss.
Hey! Do you have original lights? If so sounds like a bad ground. Send a message and some photos I am sure we can help.
I do actually! Though I sliced the 9003 connector off and replaced them since we live in an h4 world now. I checked the far ground for voltage, but not resistance. I’ll dig back into this soon, I don’t drive much. :)
Great video. Just one thing missing. How to adjust the beam aim after fitting. I have these on my van, but they point all over the place. There are two adjustment screws, but have no clue what they do. Any ideas?
Hey thank you for your comment! It’s things like this that inspire us to do more vides. We have been looking into doing the adjust video and will be coming soon!
Your best bet it to go to the mot station and have them buy it on the machine. That said if you look a little closer at the adjustment screws they have an arrow and labeled U= up D= down.

Just had my first MOT with a set of these headlights, he passed them but complained the light pattern was poor and the beam could only be set very low.

All in all this is good as they have met and passed the requirements/regulations to be safe and legal on the road awesome!
Regarding the beam pattern as you have said it it is above the minimum requirements to pass mot standards. Is there better quality pattern on other headlights been 20 years younger I am sure there is. I would hope in 20 years there has been some improvement.
The beam angle again has been set to the road legal requirements and does not need to be set any higher.
This itself can also be altered by adjusting the slam panel not just the adjustment screws.
Uneven suspension, weight in the van along with other factors can also effect this.
This is the reason why modern vehicles have electric hight adjustment in the cab for ease of access.
These are the things that have been improved in the 20 years.
All in all good result happy camping.

Do they fit without any adjustment for MOT? ie the way the light is measured in spread for the MOT
Hi thank you for reaching out. You can adjust the hight of the beam with an adjustment screw on the back. The spread and angle is set at factory and taken care of by the projector.

Thank you for your comment. The colour temperature of the lights is down to the supplied bulbs. These have a daylight temperature of 3500K.
The upgraded bulbs we sell not only put 150% more light on the road but we also have an option to get the colour closer to the LED’s at 6500K.
We have done many night time tests and so have 100’s of customers. Upgrade the loom, install the better bulbs and have them aligned correctly and they are the brightest lights on the road for a t4.
The biggest issues we see with any lights is very few take the time to adjust the beam angle correctly. This is vital to having light on the road where it should be!
The stupid wire catches on the sidelights are tricky. Ive tried 4 times and cant open the catch, so just twisted the light out, as is possible. sometimes this ruins the plastic fitting though. ho hum...

They look very nice but the low beam lights is really bad.I drove the van with those lights for good while and I prefer the original lights to drive in dark.
Hi thank you for your comment but You did not buy these lights from us. This means you have bought a less quality unit and will be the cause of your issue.
Also fitting any new head light requires alignment and best done at an mot test station. 👍
