Good job. You should have avoided the "music". How do you determine the scale factor? Could you count the number of pixels enclosed by the boundary ?

At 0:04 second in video, scale is taken from the map i.e. 1cm = 65km and it is the input to software in computer.
For area,didn't count the number of pixels inside the boundary. Gyrometer gives direction and scroll wheel gives magnitude of the vector. Then this vector is send to computer. Then computer finds area between that vector and x-axis using trapezoidal rule of integration. As shown in slide at 1:30 minutes in video, area is signed area. When vector is received by computer. Computer finds area under that vector and its sign also and then this area is added or subtracted(based on its sign) from total area variable.
I will try to make further video without music.
