Looch should have responded the truth that it wasn’t a fair exchange. Chara was a Norris trophy winner and looch was scoring 20 + goals while Scott was playing 3 minutes.

@@thetruthhurts6652 yet they had no problem fighting and going at 4th line sabres like kaleta, mccormick, gaustad, etc. And thats just counting the sabres. They have also fought many other pure 4th goons just like scott was multiple times. Scott and laraque have a video making fun of chara for how he conveniently “slips” or just tackles the guy whenever he is fighting a legit big named fighter. Chara was one of the clumsiest and worst fighters for his size around. Scott was challenging chara in blowout games where chara was going after other semi tough guys when scott wasnt even a sabre. He would always duck scott and one time in NY, he even backed down from Scott but then jumped a completely different player as soon as scott stepped off the ice. Scott was screaming at chara calling him a spot picking pussy and you could hear it clear as day on pierre mcquires mic between the benches. Pierre was also doing his usual screaming and creaming into the mic talking about how scott was livid that chara would go against the code like that and run from him yet again.
Anyways, looch has fought plenty of scrubs and pure 4th line goons. He just knew to stay away from scott. Especially after he gave thornton the worst beating of his career. Lucic knew to stick to 2nd tier guys like paul gaustad and middleweight pests like kaleta. He wanted nothing to do with scott and all the bruins were always on there best behavior that year against buffalo. Went from bullying them from start to finish to only throwing six bodychecks in the game where scott took ericssons head off. Just Six! Find me a game where that group of guys ever saw one of their star offensive forwards get taken out with a headshot and then play like angels the rest of the game. No one wanted to retaliate or send a message by even hitting a star sabres player because they knew they would still have to see scott multiple times the rest of that year. It wasn’t a coincidence. Ott and kaleta had free reign. They were hitting everything that moved and chirping non stop all year against the bruins. No way would boston let a punk like kaleta and ott chase a star like marchand around making fun of his and doing the chicken dance to him. No one did anything about it. Not once. And it was 100 percent because the sabres went out and got scott. He kept the entire team in check all year. It was a helluva sight to see.

@@buttkick22 good god you wrote a novel. Must really hate the guy. Chara and Lucic never fought for the sake of fighting. It was usually out of anger, retaliation or defending one of their own. Guys like Scott and Lariquewere usually staged fights and were put in to get their opponent off the ice. If Chara accepted a fight from every goon in the league he would be off the ice more often than not. Why would a Norris trophy winner do that.

    • @buttkick22

@@thetruthhurts6652 Scott took louie ericssons head off with a hit he was suspended for. No one, including shawn thornton who was challenged twice by scott before the hit, wanted anything to do with him. Had that been kaleta or ott or cody mccormick, you know damn well lucic and/or chara would have happily fought them the next game. But thank you for agreeing that they definitely chose their spots. What chara did when scott was in New York was absolutely gutless and everyone saw it first hand that night.

He's always sounded like that; look at old interviews from 10 years ago+... From a scientific perspective, from my understanding, it usually means a higher Dopamine to acetylcholine ratio. Usually, what happens is when you are naturally inclined towards that and, on top of that, wok out a lot. It magnifies it. As acetylcholine is used for body temp regulation. Not just learning and yapping.

I thought the same myself. His first few years with the Bruins, I said this is the 3rd coming of Terry Orielly. The second being Neely of course.
If Milan would have been more of a team leader and played with more pride for his City. back then, There's no telling how much of a Boston legend he would have become. But, alas, He sold out and went somewhere else for another million. I said " Good riddance " then, and mean it now.
Why do we need a physical player when the NHL is Pansy now ?

    • @TheFoolintherainn
      @TheFoolintherainn Год назад

@@47tooteractually Milan wanted to be a career Bruin. He was 19 years old when he started on NHL ice. How many nineteen-year-old NHL hockey players have you heard of?
Unfortunately, Milan was going through some rough times.
First off, after he Thornton, McQuaid, Ference & Thomas led us to the 2011 cup in Vancouver, when he went back home- his hometown fans turned on him. His family wasn't safe there.
Brad marchand got suspended the morning after he answered the reporter's question about Canadian fans
& a tripping turned into a slew foot based on reputation from five years prior.
Likely, that's who Brad marchand was referring to, they tried to beat up lucic, he had death threats and everybody knows what happened. But it wasn't social media so much back then
Only real hockey fans knew this stuff
So Boston & the bruins became his hometown because of having to leave his own home behind
      He didn't want to leave
-selling out? Do you have any idea what happened and how insensitive your comment is?
Two months before Lucic was traded, his father took his own life..
a month later his first child was born.
He needed a fresh start. Don Sweeney still talks about that trade as being the most difficult decision he had to make
And after his father passed, Milan had to support a lot of people. Paying u.s. and Canadian taxes
      He's coming back home.
To the world's top trainers, rehabs, nutritionist, orthopedic surgeons.
Same ones that kept ole fart Tom Brady going
But I'm guessing you don't really know this game-don't understand what it means for a player to be on home ice
How easily these summertime internet trolls trash elite athletes
I said to a few others trashing hockey players-try saying it directly to their faces.
Sell out? I'd say you've sold out to the clickbait. Nasty gossip
He went through a very difficult time and needed to shake things up.
      His father tragically died.
And with people along their way to suicide, it's rough trying to stay by their side
      He didn't sell out.
Delete your comment, I'll delete mine
This is a video celebrating the return of a Boston bruins son - finally coming home.

I don't really watch anything but hockey, but I can say the officiating changes drastically from regular season to playoffs in the NHL. The teams that can shift their game and walk that line are the ones that contend. Some teams are just unintentionally built for regular season success because some GMs think the game is changing, and it is... but the playoffs stay the same.
