I don't think any other Regular can beat the lyrics of the English version - SO clever and such a cool flex when none of them were actually making much money. Yes, that WAS Taeil singing that high note in Simon Says and I doubt they needed to do anything to it. You'll see him do this many times as you go through their songs and there will be the recording videos so you can see him do it before the song is mixed. They're singing "real vibe killer" lol. People called their music "noise" so they made a noisy song and said, "we don't pay no attention". 😃 If there was ever a middle finger in a song, this one and Lemonade would be it. Simon Says is such a great song! Definitely one of my fav NCT title tracks. In case you wanted to know, the song's about society. How there is always someone controlling or trying control your actions much like in the game Simon says. People end up wearing masks and hiding away their true selves and showcasing only what others would want them to. This song was basically them breaking through these societal norms and not listening to "Simon". A perfect song for a unit that has always been seen as unconventional, people used to associate them as the 'rebels' (especially in their debut era because there were no other groups going for something experimental back then.) The lyrics also mention stuff that people used to insult 127 with. "Just a group that makes noise music," "They're all so sexy so they're probably lacking of talent." We've definitely come a long way from those times lol

I think the reason I love NCT so much is because they made me appreciate types of music I never would’ve listened to before. Like Simon Says…before NCT I would’ve just thought it was weird but now it’s one of my favorite songs. My only regret is not finding them sooner!

The English version of "Regular" is definitely my favorite! Not only because I can sing with it, but the vibe and swag is just so cool! "Simon Says" and "Superhuman" choreo is fire! I think you'll like all of these songs the more you listen. Can't wait for the dance practices!

WINWIN is in all 3 versions of REGULAR 😗😗 Korean, English, Chinese
In SIMON SAYS, WINWIN was just in the normal part of the MV (don’t know how to call this) but he was not there in the choreography part😢. You can count in the choreography part there are 9 people, but in the normal part (where they walk in a circle and TAEYONG is in the middle) there are 10 people.
Yes. SUPERHUMAN WINWIN is not there anymore 😣😣😣 but I won’t complain, he is also happy with WayV🤧🤧🤧

Great reaction! For NCT 127 you really need to listen to the songs a couple of times to get them. First listen is wth is this?? Second listen you bob along, third listen you are totally hooked.
Jungwoos hair, that made me laugh cause that's exactly what I think when I see that Superhuman MV 😂.
About Superhuman...that is my personal favourite. The production is just insane, the vocals, melodies, rap, the MV! together with that choreo just plain genius, a song I play so so much still years after it came out! Will be interesting to see if it grows on you. Give it another couple of listens, maybe without the visuals to distract.
Regular and Simon Says are just totally epic songs that will go into Kpop history books (like most of NCT127 title tracks).

I think this is the charm of NCT music, you will not like it on the first listen but the more you listen, the more you like it. I don’t like Sticker, Simon Says etc on my first listen too, now it’s definitely my favourites

As with all NCT title tracks, they typically take a couple listens. Superhuman, Limitless and Sticker are my top three of 127's... and 2 outta those 3 I had to have multiple listens before I was hooked. It's just the nature of their music... your brain needs a bit longer to process things that are different, but once the computing is done... they're so addictive.
Regular actually has three versions... the Korean version is the Reality, it's about the grind and working hard to accomplish your goals and dreams... the English version is the Dream, what it'd be like if they achieved the kind of success they long for... the Mandarin version though is much more philosophical about it all, like what do I do now that I've achieved my goals.
Personally as much as I love the other versions, I prefer the English one... they just add that little bit of swagger the lyrics are talking about and gives it that extra spice. Plus, it's always nice to be able to sing along without butchering the Korean/Mandarin languages. 🤷‍♀
