The Gergo Borlai brass shell is only 4,25" deep but it sounds like a lot more!

No overhead. Only the two mics that you see. This works pretty well.

the SM57 points to the snaredrum center and is about one sticklenght away from the center and one sticklength from the floortom.@@Elizabeth_Postol
