I also bought a really nice 24 channel Presonus mixer (from Sweetwater) and it’s now broken and the Presonus customer service is almost nonexistent. It takes an act of God to talk to someone and I still have not been able to send it back for repair. I doubt that I will ever purchase another Presonus product.

Does the avb port on this unit do POE??
Can this be used in a recording studio, to put in the main room for in and out of the mixer? Repacing the snake?
Hi Danny, good question! That is a fantastic way to use this stage box! Running a single CAT5E is so much easier than dragging 32 channels of copper under the floor. The outputs can be combined with a headphone distro as well to give the talent hear back and monitoring. So to clarify, we can now use the NSB 16.8/8.8/32.16 stageboxes with the Series III Rack Mounted mixers now? (e.g. 32R?)
Yes
Yes, all NSB Stageboxes work with any of the Rack Mixers. You can even use two rackmixers together let's say if you want one to be for FOH and the other to act as a monitor mixer.

Can you daisy chain 2 of these 32chnnel stagebox to use with the studio live 64 console ?
Good question, MixmasterMegz767! You absolutely can daisy chain a couple of these together to give you access to the full 64 inputs! If you start connecting more than just the two stage boxes, like another console or some Earmixes, you will want to pick up an AVB router to ensure reliability.

Can I use this just connected to a laptop with a CAT ethernet and use say Cubase to record?
Hey, Mr Feenix! Great question. It depends on your computer. If you have a Mac you shouldn’t have any issues, but if you have a PC it can depend on the make and model whether it has direct hardware support for AVB.

Nope you need a mixer in the network to control the gain
@@sweetwater Seems to be problems with Drivers for AVB support on Windows plus only certain motherboards have the compatibility as do MOTU interfaces . Even some Mac users have problems connecting . I will probably have to go the Behringer route . Thanks for your help

No , you don't need a switch. There are two AVB jacks on all of the PreSonus stageboxes. You can also daisy chain an NSB8.8 or NSB16.8 to an NSB32.16

@@lelhothedevil 64 inputs and 64 outputs on a 32/24/16 mixer or up to a 128 ins and 128 outs on the 64S model. Cheers!
@@joesalyers Oh, i thought the 32s/sx/sc can only do 32 channels.
@@lelhothedevil Well you oonly have 32 physical inputs on the 24r,32R,32s,sc,sx and so on but you can extend that with the stage box or have 32 virtual channels for things like running your vocals through and extra channel to a DAW for autotune or your drums through a tape plugin ect. Actually the 16r is limited to 32 total inputs but otherwise what I stated was correct.
