This one dropped just in time for my weekend hike through the willow grove. Incredible atmosphere as always, Bolt. Forever looking forward to the next release.
I know this is dungeon synth, but I can't wait to add this to my Voices of the Void playlist :) also, fantastic work! Looking forward to what you make in the future!
I fell into your music just recently, and I dunno, at a time when I needed it most, this feels special. Thank you for bringing me closer to my feelings, even when I try to hide from them, or try to convince myself that they're not worth having. Things are gonna get better. Forever a fan of yours now.
Hey man, you said (in the chat earlier) you've had a challenging time recently. First of all, wishing you the best in things improving and being ok for you. I did want to ask though - what are your methods for ignoring that sort of thing to focus on your music and/or channelling those emotions into your music? I'm also having a bit of a tough one and I'm struggling to keep being creative through it, and I'd love to hear what works for you in that regard if you're comfortable sharing. Anyway. Thank you for another beautiful album! I will be listening through a few times for sure :)
I appreciate that and sorry to hear you're going through a tough time too. I have a few tricks. They're not all healthy lol. I don't know what your creative outlets are but a trick that works for me is finding a short article or RUclips tutorial on some new technique, trick, plugin, art style, etc. I'll try it just to see if I can do it. Usually kickstarts my drive to create.
Hey, just wanted to say I really love your work! Been using it for a dnd campaign and it goes crazy. I was wondering when this track will be uploaded to spotify as thats what I use mainly to play the tracks. (I also don't know how spotify uploading works so I hope its easy enough for you) Hope you keep making great music!
Sorry if this is a dumb question, but I have been listening to your albums on youtube and spotify and really enjoyed them but wanted to ask: is your music and album art all handmade or is it made with the assistance of AI tools? No hate if it is and if it isn't I'm sorry for being so paranoid. It's just been very hard to find dungeon synth artists on bandcamp and all the other platforms that aren't just pumped out by AI content mills, and I really enjoy what i've seen from you.
Not a dumb question. I'm learning this has become a common thing. I have been writing and performing music since I was about 15. I make all of my content. Music I use DAWs and my Microfreak. I make the visual art with adobe illustrator and Sketchbook. I'm sitting on years and years of music which is why I've released so much content in a short period of time. I never had any intention of sharing it with anyone until my partner convinced me to put it out there recently.
@@WitchBoltMusic Thank you for your response, it puts me at ease to know there's a real person behind these creative works. I'm glad your partner convinced you to put your music out there because it is frankly amazing. I look forward to more releases from you in the future.
I'm listening to this while working on a history project, and it is a ~vibe~. I'm curious about the art - do you draw it yourself? If so, what program do you use?
Was looking for something to listen to while coding for my job -- I'm very frustrated with this code. Documentation is no help at all. I feel entirely lost. And The Bronze Bull is just this perfect embodiment of my emotional state as of this moment. Your work SLAPS but aaaaaaaaaAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA
Definitely not. I made the album with an Arturia Microfreak (synth with digital oscillators and analog filters) and a 2 channel tape mixer. Then tape mixer to PC via Focusrite Scarlet mixer.
Okay, really sorry for the suspicion. I've been fooled a few times and it's quite unpleasant. It would be a tragedy if music as personal and intimate as dungeon synth was the work of soulless machines. It is also your pace of publication which created doubt but I know that other things can largely explain this situation. In short, congratulations on your work and good luck
Every single release has taken me some place I didnt know existed before. Thank you so much for another great album!

You're awesome!!

Awesome, thank you!
adding it to voices of the void, actually that's an excellent idea, thanks.
I really want this to get a physical release. Excellent work.
I appreciate that. Tapes for Bellow are scheduled to go up next week. I'm working on some of the other albums.

Hi.
I'm listening to this while working on a history project, and it is a ~vibe~. I'm curious about the art - do you draw it yourself? If so, what program do you use?
Thanks! I do draw it myself. I use SketchBook and Illustrator. If you like my visual art check out my games.

Is this music made with AI? (unfortunately, we easily think about it these days)
Definitely not. I made the album with an Arturia Microfreak (synth with digital oscillators and analog filters) and a 2 channel tape mixer. Then tape mixer to PC via Focusrite Scarlet mixer.

Using AI to make a lofi DIY genre would be the ultimate sin!
