2013 was the season before Cianciarullo shines in 450 until 7 years later.
I have the same problem at my track because of the Tree tops that both blocks the sun and shades up spots and makes blind sports.
I remember that old first turn- I was there. What a fun track to ride!

57:00 Dungey on his Ktm makes changes between EVERY MOTO!! Villo on his kawi.. hasn’t made a bike change since SOUTHWICK!!. Which is sand! It’s amazing how far ahead kawi was and STILL IS with there frame!

May be Villopoto's home state, but he didn't race Washougal much growing up. I only remember seeing him at the occasional LL qualifier.

The track map and Ryan's Go Pro video do not match. At the top of horsepower hill Ryan makes an immediate left but the track map shows the track going straight up the hill after touch down from horsepower hill. Weird.
Man I was there it was epic. Then in 14 RV retired and went to Europe. Still don’t get that move but hey I’m nobody he’s a legend
A lot of people questioned it, but to represent America and race in MXGP against the best in the world and become a champion, would’ve been icing on the cake to Villipotos amazing career.

@@JokersWild70 he looped out pretty bad during one of the MXGP rounds and broke his tail bone.
Villopoto was one my favorites to watch ride, specially during his Pro Circuit days.

This was the pinnacle of the sport. Fastest dude to ever ride a 450
I was way I used a 52 tooth sprocket a Boyson flote bowl and Boyson power reads so I never had to jet it. I would use a different tire a mud tire to a intermediate tire to a hard pack. Then I got an all terrain and then I never had to change a tire ever again. When it starts to wear down you just flip the tire over and you have a new tire.

I remember watching Villapoto on the 250's when he was younger he was launching further then ANYONE on the track 450's including!! He has always been nutty fast, Bubba always pushed the envelope as everyone knows, he just had some bad wipe outs. I have seen sooo many epic things living here, I seen Bubba wipe out get up smack the clutch lever and go from last to winning by 38 seconds, seen Carmichael leg kicking in the air right by me his bike hitting the ground just shook the ground from the jump tunnels and he popped back up and had to keep Bubba off him and then pulled out for an easy win
You know villapoto was fast and he was also really auggeresive with everybody and James .
@@johnnyrusso6347 cause Villo has always had some kind of bad luck on this track and this is usually Dungey's best track.

@@CrackerrJack right. Imagine they were racing with more modern technique. Like pegs on balls of feet, standing up a lot more, they would be even faster

Yea well the bikes and riders figure out there's different styles, Washougal is a different track, I shoot my guns and ride my bikes up there all the time, sticky tires definitely help on that ground they keep spraying it. Need to pay some kids to remove all the rocks and bring in some sandy stuff, they have after the triple there, they have that "jump" it was put there as a speed bump but guys are so fast they dont they just launch it so they put a sand pit there well they were filming like hour before I showed up with my Yamaha YZ450F and they had an ambulance leaving, guess a rider was filming and launched it pinned and went past the sand and his head went into the bars and killed him, so bummed, but the guy made several posts about sueing the track when a track worker got smacked by a bike and said if something happens to him never blame the track I'm wreckless something like that, last time was a kid on the down hill the bike landed on his helmet. They need to put some better dirt in spots for sure

Crazy how fast Bubba is on the track yet Dungey & Villapoto were almost a half a minute ahead JUST NUTTY how some guys just get in the zone, like Deegan did yesterday at Washougal he was just in the zone, he was going so fast his times were beating the 450's fastest times but he's on the Yamaha YZ 250 F those beasts are stout
Plz let me have my clutch on LB so nice to ride the clutch in the turn. Would be cool if you could use it to stay in the powerband on 2 smokes as well.
Wonder if this track is the same as today cuz the Ryan's are clocking 2:08 while fastest now was 2:14
