……. I’m not going to lie, I had to watch three RUclips videos on trigonometry and it took me 4 hours to get the answer. So now I know how to calculate the height of tide 4 hours after I need it😖
sir can you explain the part on how you got the value of capital R in no.37? I mean I get the part on where you solve for the small r. But, the capital R is actually a bit difficult. Especially if we are going to based it from the calculation you've made in the small r. But I appreciate this. It actually helped me a lot. Thank you!
If you have found the r value by calculating the arctan of (0.03/-0.159) you can easily find R by by taking one of the formulas above that step, so either R sin r = 0.03 or R cos r = -0.159. You already now r so you can just calculate R = (0.03/sin r).
kindly confirm on step for r as the sin and - cos makes it fall in the second quad so the r value will be diff and plus kindly confirm on the - 0.162 vale for R.
Good evening sir, Developed one software for prediction of tide using harmonic constituents but unable to produce accurate results using standard formulas. Request if you can help me out in any way for correction to my formulas that i have used. It will be very helpful. Regards
Thankyou bro
very well explained.
Thank you bro

Ferry good explanasion thanks fore that. Can you explane how to do the tidal rate and direction whit the SHM forms. Thanks in advance.

You are right, if it falls in the second quadrant you need to add 180° to your r value. So actually r would be 169.32 and R would be 0.162.

In some numericals , small r values are changed-+ 180 deg .
Can u please explain

You voice is too low…. Bloody hell
Line 37 and Line 38 are wrong., r should be 169.
