In this episode I will be reviewing the 4/1 and 4/6 Human Design profiles!

I'm a 4/6 and an MG. I often get frustrated that I want to do astrological readings but never feel like I'm learned enough at it to offer services. I did it once upon a time and felt like I was faking it. You referring to yourself as an introducer felt like a MASSIVE weight off my shoulders. I love speculating and sharing my ideas about astrology, tarot, and HD but never enough to act as a mastered teacher to offer strict guidance.
Thank you for this, I appreciate it! Being an introducer certainly is a lot less confining and you can always change if you begin to feel different. With HD, even though I am 9 years in I am still always learning, so I want to be here to introduce and let everyone take their own journey with it :-)
I also really appreciated you clarifying being an Introducer rather than an authority. I am a 4/6 ego projector-not a teacher or master or authority of anything. It just hasn’t been my way nor have I felt I had the expertise, or desire, to play that sort of a role. Guess I put my finger on it right there… I don’t want to play any Roles. I like that you use your notes and do not come across as a big authority on things. I actually thought you might be new to human design and appreciate when you said you’ve been studying for nine years and yet you don’t seem to need to present yourself as“the one who knows,“ as so many others do. As much as I desire to be authentic, the self protectiveness and perhaps shame (also self-judgment projected outward) I have lived with do not make authenticity as natural to me as I desire. Yes, you just helped me figure out the same, studying astrology for years but I don’t feel comfortable doing readings per se’ but I do love talking about it and showing it to people so introducer is what I’ll be calling myself from now on

I'm a 4/6 MG. An introducer is the perfect description of who I am. I never thought of it this way, but so true. I am very good at researching my interests and then sharing my finding, but I always encourage the person I talk to about the interest to do their own research. I am not the master of one, but the explorer of many 😄.
The rejection or if I feel that I am in trouble is so heart wrenching 😩. However, if I can foresee a possible situation coming back negatively I have learned to own my decision and say, "Yup, I made that decision and this is why." Defend my position with intelligence and passion. But if the rejection comes out of the blue I will be devastated. Thank you for helping me discover my true self.

Your 4/6 anecdotes are so inspiring. My recent job and my old apartment too came along kind of with ease, like the universe and connections worked to bring them my way. And whenever I kind of initiate and do the 1 approach it's a bit more of a struggle.
I’m a 4/1 MG Cross of Commitment. When I heard that this profile mostly is ‘karma free’ I laughed a bit at first, because a lot of times people told me that I’m a bearer of family karma. But, when I’m completely honest to myself, I let go of that karma that was put on to me a couple of years ago and indeed my life mission seems to be to show the world that life doesn’t gave to be so serious ☺️.

As a 4/1 projector I feel I had a lot of karma stemming from not listening to myself and not creating boundaries. As soon as I did that life has fallen into place and feels karma free, although I’m tested all the time.

I’m a 4/1, I most definitely understand the paradox! Totaling crazy hard karma-debt feeling life challenges, always. ALWAYS! At the same time I am super detached at this point and kinda skip through life throwing glitter in everyone’s faces and passing out candy!

4/1 G♥️ I feel karma free~ had heavy things happen in my life but for me they are just experiences of the body and opportunities to share the meanings I got out of them. Never felt like something to be purified or burn off, or mirror... I really feel the fixed pillar role and hopefully it works great in helping others while I enjoy living

4/1 generator here (50.4 / 41.1). I've had a rather heavy life. Raised in a lot of darkness (a lot!). Abusive authority figures. So I have used my line 1 (this knowing was unconscious until finding HD) to dive into the psychology of this all. And I've been leading a very deep spiritual and artistic life (one and the same to me) since I'm a child. I guess that came out of the suffering and longing for God. And it's become most of what I do. I've become an anchor for many, through cultivation. But the "no or light karma" idea feels foreign to me (as simple as feeling the interconnectedness of it all... I feel the karma of the collective as well as the one of my own background). I'm incredibly sensitive and I feel like I bear the weight of the world on my shoulders to be honest, every day, since I'm a toddler. I'm 40 y/o and ain't slowing down. Haha! But I can bring a lot of playfulness forth. Yes. And that sensibility makes me self cultivate like almost no one I know. Thank you for this!

I’m usually unstable and don’t want to let people think I will ever be stable. 4/6 Manifestor. I hate rejection. I often get rejected by low vibration though. I relate to your manifesting abilities.
I am 4/1 - Manifestation generator, completely opposite of Karma free life.. I have had so many lessons to learn being a Healer and therapist and on a spiritual journey... have faced shadows head on and life has not been really easy.

That's not what she means, karma and spirituality aren't the same thing, 4/1 are supposed to have a deeper connection to the universe but are supposed to be disconnected from the things that usually bother people who believe in karma, we can be fighting an intense battle in your mind and be completely calm in your exterior. What she means is that we are unaffected by bullshit, the things you see in your life that you can't control that you mistake as karma is just truth you haven't researched yet. That's also what she means by a second life: we are in the unique position that the entire second half of lives is under our control because we sift through and understand the life lessons that most people find when their old, it gives us more time on the path to learn.

@@therandomboxofanxiety1833 well said. I see 4/1 as an information catalyst for others. my mom is a 4/1 and dad is a 5/1. Her energy is pretty weird, as 4/1s can seem very eccentric; but she travels very lightly thru this world on a karmic level, doesn’t really take more than she gives and doesn’t give more than she takes. The 5/1 dad however is a karmic tangle. That 5 is all about getting into another person’s life imo. all a 4/1 has to do is compare their profile to other profiles around them. The difference is quite stark imo.
That makes so much sense! I am also a 4/6 and can relate to this fear of rejection. It often seems easier to say no and stay where I am.. but with time I learned its not what makes me happy or what leads me to growth.

100%! I think as we "grow into" our designs, in this case that line-6 we take a few more risks that are aligned vs. running away from them :-p Thanks for the thoughts!
I'm a 4/1 generator and i used to make life really serious but the more that i learned about myself and i know i have a gift to see how relationships can teach us so much on what we need to work on or what are triggers are or what are patterns are...it's really obvious to me to know what someone needs to do in order to change their life....i make my life really simple now and i know if i don't do that i get frustrated and that feeling is sign for me i need to start having more fun in my life and to relax

Thank you, Sarah! 4/6 ego Projector here-this was very interesting. I actually really relate to the bit you shared about the 4/1 having something of a karma-free lifetime. Looking back at my life, listening to others about their lives, I am often struck by how much more tragedy and loss others have experienced. Perhaps I’ve learned some of the good stuff already-I am compassionate and empathetic; whenever I feel ill it always comes to my heart to feel compassion for others who are suffering too. But I’m struck now in my 50s by what a relatively Easy life I am having. When I was younger I didn’t get it tho-was very caught up in my own negative feelings, disappointments, frustrations. A gratitude practice has helped; focusing on returning to my heart and getting out of my head (a challenge you mentioned for 4/6s sometimes); doing yoga, walking, hiking, etc; having animals in my life, sharing intimately with close friends and my mate; doing art for fun and creative expression; and now my Human Design studies, a system which feels like it helps me understand myself and my energy as nothing else has. All of these are Gifts now that I’m so grateful for. Thank you for sharing your insights and wisdom! 🌟💛🌟 Renge’
Thank you for the wonderful response, I appreciate it! We certainly "grow into" our Human Designs throughout our lives, so it makes sense that much of our understanding around our chart comes later, Human Design is certainly not a "here is all the info and that's it" kind of study :-)

I’m a 4/1 MG! And yes I don’t take life srs and constantly remind other to loosen up some. But I’m also becoming more aware of how we’re all different individually speaking
Jobs always found me, and recently i had to find a new job, and i tried and i applied and was running out of time, and then i switch to a more relaxed energy, enjoying my free time and in 2 weeks after I wasn't working anymore it camed, from a recommendation and had a quickly arranged interview and got instantly a reply that yes they want me. So yeah then i remembered wait for the invitation and just calm down. In those 2 weeks other type of opportunities came in via friends and it felt awesome ( i forgot to live my projector life, but now i won't ever again)

I'm 4/1 Generator. When i firstly heard that my life is Karme free, I was like - noo that's not about me. I think in this lifetime I have a lot of lessons to learn.

I am a 4/1 profile, Generator. I’m glad to have found your channel today to figure out how this all works. On the surface, I don’t identify with a generator but I also don’t really fully identify as an Aries (and I am one) and like astrology, it appears Human Design is more complex than what we read about just our “sun sign.” I do feel like what you described as a 4/1 is me though!

We certainly also show up differently based on so many parts, so I always tell people to take what resonates and leave the rest behind, we are all guided to where we need to be especially when we stop trying to force ourselves to show up as something that we just aren't feeling 🙂

I'm apparently the most rate type of 4/1, I grew up without the foundation that I was supposed to have been raised with but I found it in the neurons in my own head, because I thought, if God really created all of us he had to have left something behind in us like a blueprint or map of who youre supposed to be, it was screaming at me and all I had to do was listen. I feel that being a 4/1 manifesting generator gives me a unique opportunity to actually control my life once it has truly began. It's difficult because I see people 20-30 older than me struggling with the introspection and interconsepts that I do and so that a weird mix of knowing I got lucky later in life but also that I'm going to have to go through so many hardships that no one else will, it's why we try to explain to you that your life could be easier, because mine isn't and I don't want that for you if it can be helped
4/1 manifester. I had no idea about the little karmic situation. I def have a life with a lot of self sacrifice (that whole juxtaposition thing) but this is very interesting news. Brings more of a peace of mind. And I thank you for bringing in a new perspective for me to think about and fit it into my life. :) Thanks for sharing!

I am a 4/1 projector. I resonate with the teacher and researcher piece. I am an empath and intuitive but absolutely feel like I have karma and pain to shed. So this was interesting.
Also a 4/1 Projector here. I read that our type is extremely rare as there is only 2% of us out there. I recognize myself in almost everything about this profile.

I was trying to explain to someone else that what you mistake for karma is supposed to be a lesson, we are deeply connected to the spirit of the universe, but deeply disconnected from the physical aspects of karma, pain is not karma. Karma isn't even a real concept, it's just shit, the other personalities made up because they didn't understand the fabric of the universe

Hello Sarah, I have a 4/1 Projector profile and I really need to say my life has been pretty serious. I had lots of struggles connecting and was more of a loner. Recently I started being part of a community but I can't really say I'm a community person, since I almost have zero experience in that. Yet, I can confirm that there is a sense for what does serve someone or not (I don't like using right or wrong, since that's very relative). Maybe I'm out of alignment if the profile is all about community...

I am a 4/1 MG Cross of the Now. I still dont like the fact that i have no control about what i am going to do in life. I can not decide by myself this and that is what i am going to do as humans tend to do it. Try to explain to my father why i havent finished anything in my life. If i tell him thats not my job he will not accept as a truth. But who cares i got a job. To live in the moment truly is a challenge. I cant decide anything. What i am going to do, what i am going to say i just have to wait do my thing (alone) and see what happens what is coming to me. It is frustratingly funny and yet i am filled with a lot of joy and interest on whats coming. What i truly have to learn is to say no. It is still painful for me to say that. But i am starting to understand that i am not here for everybody. I am here for myself. And some things are worthy for my attention and some are not. And for no other reason than my feeling. It truly is fascinating for someone who tries to control everything. And to be fully an ego and that this is okay xD ah its so funny i really started to enjoy that kind of struggle. And i am still not really sure if everything i said is 100% correct. Let me investigate more.

I have the 4/1 profile and I have a question. Is the community that the 4/1 profile will help and benefit from the community in which they are born into or a community which they find or create?
The community (family/friends) that I was born into does give me things but it doesn't feel right. It doesn't feel like my community. And I have always wondered if there were other people out there for me.
Great question! We can create community and also leverage our first and second degree connections. You may find that attending an event you naturally meet people and enjoy connecting others, etc. It shows up differently for all of us - also it depends on what stage in life we are in as well :-)
I am a 4/1 jux of grace manifestor, but man life feels so heavy and dull? I dont see that freedom and joy most videos tend to say i was supposed to be experiencing....

Haha, this can happen - there is obviously so much more to our chart than just our profile, these profile numbers represent the lines in our sun which represents our personality, but i recommend looking at all of the line energy throughout your chart and reflecting on this - for example in other parts of your chart you may have a lot of "3-line energy" (if there is a .3 after a gate)

Thanks for watching! Not yet, but I do plan to create future videos and will think about including more on these. In the meantime, I would recommend diving into the gates highlighted in your sun + earth (the top 2 gates on both sides) that make up your specific cross

I’m a 4/1 Projector and it’s been very frustrating trying to figure things out!
If 4/1s had karma free lives, we probably wouldn't have to go through so much heartache and disappointment. I haven't met a single 4/1 that knew what their purpose was or that had a giant group of friends aka. Large Network. I am well past my Saturn return now and my life has gotten significantly worse since then.
I'm a 4/1 projector and I'd say I have a huge network...it's hard for me to go many places without meeting someone new or already knowing someone there. However, I've always felt very alone and completely different from everyone I know! It's a very difficult profile to have, i think. Very weird paradox.
I am a 4/1 Manifestor. Also well past my first Saturn return. My life has been far from charmed, in fact I have not gone a year in my life without significant trauma. That being said, I am clear on my purpose in life. I’ve also learned that my purpose changes as I change. I am willing to accept that there may be a different reason for my suffering than balancing karma. I have a few thoughts on the subject, but I don’t find I need to know why. I don’t feel like knowing would change the way I navigate through life. I don’t have a large group of friends, though I could easily if I wanted to. I’m an introvert, highly sensitive, and spend an awful lot of energy healing and attempting to repair one damaged aspect of life as another gets ruined before I can catch my breath. I don’t have much time for socializing. I do however have a large group of those I influence. Seems everyone that ever met me is on the edge of their seat gossiping about which way I’ll cook the chicken tonight. I get attention of all sorts, some good, some not so good. Most I can ignore, I engage when I have the reserves, which isn’t often. I influence the world around me, just by being in it. I doubt I’ll ever really understand the fascination, but I’ve come to accept it.
Hello! I am new to the human design system and very confused.;-) I am a 4/1 person, but I cannot really find myself in the description of the 4/1 profile...Especially the sentence, that 4/1 people are here to show people, that life isn't so hard as it seems. Usually I am the person who takes life too seriously and overthinks everything and makes herself a very hard time.;-) I am also an introvert who looses energy if I am with many people and I like and need Me-time and silence a lot. I know people that got to know their HD-profile and said, "Yes, that is exactly me!". Why it is the opposite with me? I know myself quite well and don't think, that I have so many blind spots.🤔 Do you have clients who cannot identify with their profile and what could be the reason? Iam 4/1 generator and I do take life seriously unfortunately and Ive had a lot of karma to deal with. I had a spiritual awakening in 2013 and all I’ve been doing for last 9 years is inner work to heal myself
I am a 4/1 Projector. I can really see how I am a projector, but the 4/1 is eluding me. All of the stuff about not being here to change and a fated destiny. and rigidity. I'm a 4/6 manifestor too. Lately I'm wondering, how can I survive when I have such a repelling energy plus the 4/6 profile that pushes away... I can't wrap my head around how I want/need people in my life, yet can't seem to maintain strong enough connections. Have you had a similar experience?
@@alyssacometto3917 yes- I’m also 4/6 Manifestor in my 50’s and I can say that for me the key has become the *quality* of the individuals around me; it’s become increasingly obvious to me that the community I’m slowly realising I want to manifest is *very very specific* in nature. I’m simply not built the same way as others, I don’t see the world the same way, I don’t function in it like others do and I need to feel like those within my intimate circle grok the deep nature within me so I’m not experiencing constant frustration and pushback, which derails my momentum.

It’s usually a friend of a friend type of thing with being led to what I’m desiring. Once I didn’t get the job I wanted, but the interviewer actually then recommends me to another company who hires me on the spot. Can’t find new clients through the traditional business approaches? Well, an ex coworker calls me randomly and tells me she’s changing careers and asks if I want to take her clients. Looking to date? Just so happens when I visit a friend on vacation I hit it off with her bfs new friend. Sometimes I can very palpably feel the string leading me to towards what I want and all I can do is surrender and be as authentic in the moment that I can be with whoever I’m talking to because you never know who they will introduce me to.

Each person highlights different parts of our chart. One thing I've learned in difficult times is to trust and focus on showing up as your best self, when we add "force" to anything we usually end up with the opposite if what we were after (funny how that can work sometimes). At first, its not the smartest way to mix 4/1 and 4/6 - 4/6 is fundamental Ying, ja RAX and 4/1 is fixed fate a JPX. And we ware not here to say, hey don´t make your life so hard and have fun. thats not correct. Maybe you can make a video with more watchtime, so you don´t miss important aspects. "Bonuslife" is not Human Design, it´s a newer subjective description, so 4/1 is free of carma - has a fixed fate and because we lifed so many lifes, it seams like a bonus life because we are not here to change.
