hi deborah! i just started watching your content this week and it has genuinely helped me so much. im about to be a freshman in college and i have had so much anxiety about what college is going to be like. your videos have been really beneficial to me and showed me that, while there are obviously going to be bad days, there are going to be good days that hold more importance then bad ones. i’ve pretty much binged watched all your videos up until this one and, while i’m still feeling anxious in some ways, i feel a lot more content about leaving home and going to school. thank you so much for all the effort and love you put into your content!!

Honestly nobody ever talks about how hard it is to be an introvert. Like I love my friends, I love spending time with them, but sometimes it's just painful. You have to give yourself that space even when you don't want to, because that's the only way you can rebuild your energy. Loved this video btw, keep doing what you're doing

It's so heartwarming seeing foreigners actually appreciating my country and taking their time to really feel it. I'm from the same area you were staying in but I'm currently living in another country so this video brought back so many memories in such a beautiful way and I just love how you captured it's beauty in a very real and genuine way. I remember watching this video when it came out and being super jealous that you could go to Italy for your studies. Now half a year later I'm actually going there for a uni related course too! So weird how the universe works sometimes

Same, I was wondering how it would feel to be studying in Italy since I’d never been there before (I’m from Spain) and a year later I’m here in Italy having almost finished my first semester at uni! Well, I’m in South Tyrol so not 100% Italy but most people I know are Italian so I’m still gonna count it lol
Honestly, this video is everything I ever needed in my life. THIS IS STRAIGHT OUT OF A MOVIE. It has a kind off nostalgic feeling to it, which I absolutely love !! I can't wait for my summer in Italy this year :)

OMG I am Italian and I currently live in Bologna as I study there, but my hometown is Grosseto, really close to the farm you've been staying in! It has been amazing to see these places through your eyes and your amazement. I almost immediately recognized the seaside and especially the noise of cicadas ahahah. I recently got approved for my schools study abroad in program in Italy and I’m so excited and this video is making me even more excited! I’m gonna be in Florence most of the time studying art history this summer for 4 weeks :))) the program you went on is super interesting though! I can imagine food study is really fascinating

I’m living in Barcelona which is on the coast of Spain and the other day I happily referred to the water I was in as the ocean and my native friend GASPED and said “no, this isn’t the ocean!” And I’m like all confused and she’s like this is the sea, there’s a difference. I think it’s an American thing to call it the ocean hahahaha

When I was in 11th grade, I had a group assignment where we partnered with a farm known for their regenerative farming methods. We had to compare their farming methods and the quality of their products to ones from local grocery stores. Seeing you do this internationally while having this immersive experience is so exciting. I am so down to see that video about how parmesan reggiano and prosciutto is made. I'm so happy you've been enjoying yourself! I hope you've been well. I'm excited to see the next vlog.

i can relate to what you said about kind of struggling with the amount of social interaction and the lack of alone time while going abroad. i visited my boyfriend's parents in cali for almost a month this summer (we live in sweden) and it was so tough at times not being able to just take a nap or walk away due to not being at home. just know that it does get better and it really helps to het that 48h sleep/isolation once you get home 😅🫶
hi dobochoba! i came across one of your videos on my feed just this morning and i’ve been exploring your channel the whole day. i’m only gonna be a sophomore in high school this year, but watching your videos assure me that college just isn’t about studying and working your butt off! it’s also about the freedom you get as a young adult and having the ability to make your own choices and when it really comes down to it, school isn’t **everything**. i have rly bad anxiety about the future/college and not being able to keep up with grades even though i’m still a sophomore in high school.. i try to comfort myself with videos like this and also just looking all over sites like quora and reddit to maybe see others in my situation and what advice people have given them. i’ve come to found that grades, gpa, and major tests do of course matter and you should focus on them, but there’s 24 hours in a day and you’ll definitely be able to have free time to do the things you want to do. you’re still young and your head shouldn’t always be worried about school. while you’re still young, live and explore. hardships will come, but what’s life without a little difficulty? you have to learn from those experiences so that you can have even better experiences in the future. this was sort of a rant and advice for myself to read whenever i’m having hard times.. with this in mind, thank u for uploading these videos even with tour busy schedule! they are a source of comfort for thousands out there and as viewers, we’re also all so happy to see u living wonderfully!! enjoy italy!!! it’s absolutely gorgeous and you as well!!

for your "I think Spanish helped" thingy, I just want to say yes, it did. I'm a Portuguese native speaker, I'm from brazil, and so far of all the languages I attempted to learn (right now I'm learning Korean) all the Latin derivated ones were the easiest. so to me French, Spanish, and Italian are all easy languages to learn, they're not the same, but since I'm already a Latin language speaker, it helps a lot. good luck with your study abroad, I hope you have fun

@@britneyt9253 it was my second choice (i wanted to go to finland but there has been a problem with the university). I chose it because there's a lot of different beautiful landscapes, there are trains that enables you to travel in the entire country, and there are many cities that I wanted to discover there !

hey! so since you want to learn italian, i recommend making everything around you in that language (shows, your phone's language, books ect) this will help you immerse yourself in the culture a lot more. also, watch shows that you already know in english, or even kids shows (these are very good for beginners) lmk if this helps !!
