The Scandis are always so even tempered and quite open aren't they? Hovland is another one who just seems to be such a genuinely good dude, as do the Hojgaard boys.
Great interview guys. He might be Swedish but after his college years he is at least 1/64 American. Anyhow… either they have amazing media training there in Texas or this kid is a born star. He come across as so honest, relaxed and friendly. Let’s hope he lives up to the expectations we now have.
The Scandis man--Hovland is just like this as well. A lot of Americans might hate on socialism but this is the type of people it builds, people who refuse to consider themselves better than others whatever their supposed status in life.
@@jamesm9995 He comes from a socialist country ya muppet, where communalism is considered positive and people have less egotistical and egocentric tendencies than in the US. It's at least in part why he's such a level-headed man like Hovland.
Let’s get a HOLD on Charlie getting a tour start for now. He is good, but as a junior golfer, there are many better players than he is at his age. I have no doubt a tournament would love to have him but he still shoots in the 80s on occasion, at much easier courses than he will play on tour. It would be beneficial to no one to have him play on tour now and go and shoot two rounds in the 80s and killing his confidence. Again, he is a great player and under Tiger, he could not get a better coach/caddie, but let’s take it slow with him and give it at least 3 or 4 more years.
You two sounded so bitter and a little moany at your Ryder Cup loss. Just deal with it dudes. I had money on the US really walking this one... as I follow the PGA and really know more about them than the European guys, but you cannot not turn up for a day and half and expect to win. NewYork will be different and if Tiger is your captain then WOW!
Tip from a swede to all of you golfers trying to pronounce Åberg: “Å” is the same sound as in “fore”!
What a talented guy and so humble. Looking forward to his rise on the PGA. Good interview Fellas.

Snoozefest though

The 'Big Vig' is the real deal. His confidence, tone & observations are reminiscent of Bjorn Borg.
Good stuff fellas
Subpar by name…wasn’t there an event at the home of golf last week?
God of birdies🇸🇪❤
Åberg 🤩
This guy may get to 5 Majors before Rory does...
Take the under of 151 for Lexi
Beethoven ? or VB for short?
If you listen carefully he pronounces his last name Oberry.
Seven? And one old 🇨🇦 broad!
