In 1992 the company I was working at, "Welt der Spiele", organized a RPG convention in Frankfurt, Germany, and I had the honour to be the gopher for Mike Pondsmith and his wife, and as things go, the night became VERY long, so we talked about a thousend things.
One of this was music, so I told him I was a filk fan. He didn`t really understand what I was talking about, so I named some filk singers. When I mentioned Leslie Fish, he stopped me.
"Fish, do you mean THE FISH!. Of course I know her, MAN I sang back up vocals on her last record". So, the deep voice, repeating "Hello" after Leslie, thats Mike Pondsmith from R. Talsorian games.
"THE FISH"
You sir serve the gods themselves! F'ing awsome

Lyrics
Hello. Remember us,
The ones you left behind
When half the Earth was burning,
And all the sky was blind?
You lords of wealth and power
Who made the missiles fly,
Remember how you hid yourselves
And left us here to die?
Chorus:
Hello! Hello! Hello!
Hello. Remember us?
No doubt you shed a tear
Before you took yourselves below
And left us standing here.
Now, aren't you pleased to see us,
So many still alive?
Or did you hope to find a world
Where only you survived?
Hello. Remember us?
We sure remember you!
Remember how our world was
And what you brought it to?
And when the dead were buried,
The dust all cleared away,
We set ourselves about your door
And waited for this day.
Hello. Remember us?
It seems we're hard to kill.
Though more than half were slaughtered,
Then enough are living still.
And if now we don't obey you,
Why should you find it strange?
We lived this long without you,
And we see no need to change.
Hello. Remember us?
We swear that this is true.
Whatever world remains through us,
It will not go to you.
We know what dreams you harbored.
Come kiss them all goodbye.
Come up and claim your kingdom now.
Come out, stand up, and die.
Goodbye

I consider it more "Anti-Abusive Authoritarianism".
Because let's face it.
Most first-world countries (and EVERY non-first world country) these days has rampant abusive leaders in every branch of Government, and every political party now all serves the ruling class of rich private citizens hiding behind corporate entities.
Waiting for the Bunker bunnies to poke their heads above ground.....
I love how cheerful this song is despite what’s being said.
This is surely as relevant today as ever. Indeed, places like the Cheyenne Mountain Complex may seem reasonable to the elite, but what about us? Anger is appropriate sometimes. This music taps into that emotion so well. Thanks so much for uploading.
+Rob Adams No problem, I've gotten so much filk off of RUclips and figured I'd give something back.
Fact is, Cheyenne Mountain is now common knowledge, and therefore useless as a shelter. You can bet there are enough missiles targeted at that peak to wipe it clean off the topography.
@@autofox1744 So far as I've heard Cheyenne Mountain is closed and is no longer set up to be a shelter.
@@emilynelson5646 If I had missiles aimed at the US and wanted to cover my bases, I would target it regardless. Too obvious a target not to hit.
I'd bet my bottom dollar that the politicians and elite have a new, top secret shelter that we don't know about.
This song makes me want a Fallout quest line based around this premise.
The people of Megaton City?
When the Enclave show up.
herobrineharry exactly what I was thinking.
Leslie Fish rules! I would love to get her on an episode of monkey chat one day!
This song just got me out of an art plateau!
From the curse of the Fallout...and of the single stranded RNA... Libera Nos Domine.
