I understand Kiyo's whole backstory is the Japanese equivalent of "What you doing step bro" humor but it still wacky by anime standards. I'm glad someone gave him a redesign and recharacterization.
God yeah, and danganronpa uses it as a plot point or joke so consistently that it just.. bothers me (see also, Leon's cousin in THH, how the DR3 anime chose to write fuyuhiko's sister, etc) It's rarely so blatant as in v3, but it's just sort of There an uncomfortable number of times. I'm glad my rewrite worked! :D
I would’ve actually died- because at that point they’re just disfiguring her body and there’s no stopping point (since she can’t die again) It would’ve been AWFUL
As a Kiyo fan, YES YES YES YES. Treat my boy Kiyo right! The execution idea you did is much better, aswell as the idea of a 'murderer' (technically he is) being set free. Character development? YES. Unease within the group? YES. Kiyo deserved so much more than DRv3 gave him. :(

Early! Truly loved this! I truly like Tenko's design better like that! And Angie was so interesting! Kyo was close to canon, but tbh I can't imagine him differently, but I still love it in your version!

I am becoming so obsessed with these videos, i love seeing different interpretations of these characters and how they interact with each other. (also i don't know where to put this, but please give Ouma heterochromia in his redesign, i saw it in his beta designs and i think it would be really interesting)

@@k0w0res speaking of ouma, i kind of see him as somewhat similiar to Nikolai (from Bungou Stray Dogs) in the way that he wants freedom so much that he will purposefully go against what people expect just for it, so him purposefully wearing contacts to look different would be really cool!! :3333333333333

If so, im curious to see if he'll die later or if he's gonna survive :3

Kiyo is still alive heading into chapter 4!! I felt like it'd be interesting to play around with that dynamic, since we've never had someone around who had committed a murder within the game before. I'm excited to play around with it, I was waffling back and forth on it for a little while but in the end I feel like it's a stronger decision for the intrigue- imagining this as a player experience, at least, rather than just a series of videos XD

im really endeared and pleased someone likes kiyo aswell, he is my biggest kin and i can relate much to him. i agree the creators should've put more research in his trauma and they did replecate it as a joke wich is really sad and un-amusing. . .

I FORGOT TO COMMENT WHEN I FIRST WATCHED..GRR...i hate how the og devs wrote chap 3, it was so much wasted potentuial!!! im so glad u did the thing where kiyo survives because there was another kjiller!! and the excution would be so haunting 0_0 Also, i did martial arts too!! I hated how they designed her outfit, like you can be pratical and traditional while still being cute!! >:( chap 3...sucked. the way they treated kiyo's trauma made me CRY!!! it had the potentional to be so sad but they just treat trauma like shock value in dr...i love the designs as usual!!

I would love if this is how the actual game played out don’t get me wrong. I like how the original game is. It’s just I would just wish korekiyo lived
