You’re flying with these starts and WIPs. Love your Go Tell It on The Mountain! I need to get back to the Twin Birds too. I kind of abandoned it before I’d even finished the top piece. The border wasn’t an intuitive stitch to me, so it took me ages to work on it. Need to get back before if forget it completely, and am scrambling around in Dec trying to get it ready to stuff with our orts. 🤣
I think I feel a bit the same about Twin Birds - it is not the easiest to stitch so I have to be in the right frame of mind! I have had a few frogging episodes on it! Maybe a day each month or week and it will be done in time...🤔🤣

I decided I had to have some restraint! I have already got my rough list for the rest of the year for #funfor50sal so I am well aware I have a lot of charts and stash! My worry is buying something then not wanting to stitch it at a later date so I am mindful and try and only buy things I really really love! Trying to be a little but sensible here and there 🤣🤣🤣🤣

Hi Sally, loved your flosstube as usual with your finishes and wips. I also have one of Pauline's Hen bags, they are immaculately stitched, beautiful bags. I too love chickens but we are terrorised by foxes who think the garden and it's contents are their's 😢 I love the Drawn Thread charts and bought Summer Arbor this week from my fab LNS which is only about a mile from me called Northgate Needlecraft. Oh that's such a shame about the foxes. We seem to be ok here - I think as we are semi rural there is enough food for them outside of the village that they don't come onto the estates. We are surrounded by houses with dogs so think that helps. The main thing they squawk at is visiting cats!! You are very lucky to live just a mile from your LNS - very tempting to be there alot I bet! 🤣🤣🪡🧵

Oh yes you should!! Chris is great and so helpful. Mum made a mistake on her stitch and had to frog quite a bit so phoned Chris and she sent her some more of just what she needed. Create Nostalgia isn't too far away from it either so you can do then both in a day depending on where you are travelling from. Did you know that here in the Netherlands, the Easter Bunny is the Easter Hare (de Paashaas)? Probably because it rhymes. ‘Bunny’ in Dutch is Nijntje - also the Dutch name for Dick Bruna’s iconic white Miffy rabbit :)

I decided I had to have some restraint! I have already got my rough list for the rest of the year for #funfor50sal so I am well aware I have a lot of charts and stash! My worry is buying something then not wanting to stitch it at a later date so I am mindful and try and only buy things I really really love! Trying to be a little but sensible here and there 🤣🤣🤣🤣

When I was a kid I raised Bunnies for about 6 years on the ranch. I had so much fun I named them all. 😂. Sounds like a wonderful family Easter. Mine will be quiet since it's just me and my son. Hi Sally, loved your flosstube as usual with your finishes and wips. I also have one of Pauline's Hen bags, they are immaculately stitched, beautiful bags. I too love chickens but we are terrorised by foxes who think the garden and it's contents are their's 😢 I love the Drawn Thread charts and bought Summer Arbor this week from my fab LNS which is only about a mile from me called Northgate Needlecraft. Wishing you a lovely Easter break and I hope the Easter bunny pays a visit to you 😂
Oh that's such a shame about the foxes. We seem to be ok here - I think as we are semi rural there is enough food for them outside of the village that they don't come onto the estates. We are surrounded by houses with dogs so think that helps. The main thing they squawk at is visiting cats!! You are very lucky to live just a mile from your LNS - very tempting to be there alot I bet! 🤣🤣🪡🧵

Oh yes you should!! Chris is great and so helpful. Mum made a mistake on her stitch and had to frog quite a bit so phoned Chris and she sent her some more of just what she needed. Oh you should! I just checked out your Instagram and we are quite similar in our stitching likes! It is a great shop and such an array of charts. Create Nostalgia isn't too far away from it either so you can do then both in a day depending on where you are travelling from. Thanks Sal for another enjoyable flosstube. As soon as you said the giveaway was open to internationals, I decided to enter! Did you know that here in the Netherlands, the Easter Bunny is the Easter Hare (de Paashaas)? Probably because it rhymes. ‘Bunny’ in Dutch is Nijntje - also the Dutch name for Dick Bruna’s iconic white Miffy rabbit :)
Glad you enjoyed! I do imagine the Easter bunny to be more of a hare as it's spring and we get spring hares don't we? Also hares are a bit faster for all the egg deliveries that are needed 🤭🤣🐰
