Hi Lori. I held my breath when you were standing on your chair. Brave lady. Beautiful wips and finish as usual. I do really like the Jardin P lady. I love the blue fabric for the little girl blowing bubbles. You will have to lay the threads on it to make sure none of the colors disappear. Look forward to your next video with fully finishes.
A wonderful evening to see Dena and you in one sitting. 223 is my choice. The lady. I so enjoy seeing your WIPS. I love your finish so good looking . Stitch on the blue fabric for the young girl. Love your haul. Happy stitching
I love all of your cross stitching, but I especially love when you share quilts! That Christmas one is stunning, the way you added the sashing and borders!
I'm partial to the darker combination of 223. I think 223 is one of my favorite DMC pinks. I've always liked that Lady. She's so unique. Jardin Prive has some fun charts. Your fancy lady's are amazing. I use waste thread. Instead of finishing and cutting your thread, after the last stitch, you come up a couple stitches over, remove your needle, and leave the tale hanging on the front. Then you start stitching with the next color. It helps you keep your place and you stitch over the thread in the back, tying it down. Once the back is tied down, you snip the hanging thread close on the front and use a snag nab-it to pull the thread through to the back. Snag nab- it's are one of my favorite tools in my notions box. I have a few of them. Your quilt top is beautiful!
Hi Lori I stitched Miss Bingley's library for my sister's birthday. It stitched up so pretty and she loved it. You stitch so many beautiful charts and quickly. I so enjoy your flosstube and feel like were old stitching friends.
Thanks for sharing. Your quilt is beautiful. I'm a quilter too, and that was a great solution. Better done than perfect, and I love your fabric choices.
I absolutely love to watch you! You made me a nervous wreck climbing on that swivel chair!😂. I LOVED your quilt! I thought it looked much better WITH the sashing! Much less hectic and I could see the fabric better. You did an excellent job!❤❤❤🎉
Thank you for sharing all of your beautiful cross stitch and quilting. I love the row of winter houses. If you never heard of Bloc-Loc templates they make the most wonderful flying geese templates in a number of sizes and my flying geese always come out beautifully. Have a wonderful November stitching. LADY please.
The quilt is beautiful. Great job in resolving the lining up of your squares. Brave getting up on the chair. I’m also stitching the Jardin Prive Gentleman and Lady. The Marquise Lady would be a lovely add to group.
Lori, thanks for risking life and limbs to show us that beautiful quilt. It is stunning! I inherited a room-full of fabric, a very high-end sewing machine, a serger and sewing accessories from my Mother three years ago and they are still pinning away in my storage unit. One day, I will sign up for sewing classes and learn how to turn Mom's inventory into quilts for my siblings and nieces. Seeing your quilt is very inspiring. Sorry about the colonoscopy misadventure. I dread that procedure but encourage everyone to please get one every five or ten years as recommended by their doctor. Take care!
Hi Lori 👋, I misspoke last time. It is your Stoney Creek, Autumn & Winter In The Village, patterns that I have fallen in love with. I purchased Winter and hope to start it soon. I had surgery on my right hand and it's still too stiff. Do a floss toss on your blue and brown fabric and see where they pop the most. You will make the best choice. Keep up the great videos. 👏👏👏 Happy Stitching and Quilting. ❤❤❤
Your quilt is just beautiful! I love Mirabilia designs, but haven'' stitched one yet. I think that the marquise lady is fancy too, and I just love it. Her wig and beautiful full dress are so fun.
Love how you made the flying geese work in your quilt however i did hold my breath while watching you stand on your chair!! I honor your with the Award for Bravery!! Lol It is also amazing how quickly you progress with your stitching, i think for the new year i am going to try it your way by only stitching a few days in a row at a time... The lady pattern reminds me si much of of the Queen of Hearts from Alice in Wonderland, would like to stitch her too and I think the 962 looks the best. Thank you for sharing!
You are right Kathy Barrick is a very nice lady. Funny story years ago she lived about 5 miles from me but of course at that time I was not doing much cross stitching, but found out later when looking at an old Just Cross Stitch magazine and they had an article about her and they gave her address and I was like she lives so close. Met her at a Prim Stitcher gathering super nice .
Lori, you made my day when you hopped up on that swivel chair! I chuckled out loud. You are such a treasure. On your pink and black piece, I cast a vote for pink 223. (If you haven't started the project yet.). For your little girl pattern, I vote for the blue fabric instead of the dulce de leche. I think both would be a beautiful choice, but something about that blue grabs me! :-) I love all your Grandma Tales.....your kids and grandkids are so very blessed.
I love all of your stitching and only wish I could accomplish what you do!! BUT that Christmas quilt is gorgeous!!! I'm still a quilter collector and haven't ventured into the actual piecing! I wish we lived closer!
I so enjoy your videos, and am always impressed with the very challenging pieces you stitch! (I was also impressed with how easily you climbed up on that chair!) I think either fabric would look good for the little girl piece - but the blue would really make the lavender bow show up.... Happy November stitching! 😊
Hi Lori :) Either 223 or 962 . . either way, it will be gorgeous. Winter in the Village is beautiful. I WILL work on mine after the new year. Too much going on for the holidays right now. But maybe if I get everything done early ( hee hee) I'll pull it out. I love the little sweaters pattern. Those will be adorable. Your quilt is beautiful. Great job. I have a quilt and runner to finish for family gifts before Christmas. Happy Stitching and Quilting.
Lori please don’t stand on that chair again, did you hear me gasping, 😂 My opinions on your color choices, pink 962 for your Quaker lady and I like the brown background instead of the blue. Just my opinions, your work always looks so good! Happy stitching!
I like DMC 223, my second choice of 152. I've done that with my next loaded needle for that same reason, as many charts have 4-5 color in which the tints are so close. Anything to assist in spending less time for me trying to figure out where I left off is a huge plus. Especially if I put the piece down, I'm lost when I come back. Oh no, Hoffman should not have sent & wow, Super nice of Kathy Barrick!!! The blue is very nice, yet I don't really like it with the purple floss. I'd go with the Dulce de Leche. Cute Quilt!!! Get Off That Chair before Sal comes in!!!
I have completed three of the ‘in the village’ series and am very close to finishing Spring. I find the printed pattern difficult to follow so had to enlarge them. But they turn out beautifully.
I vote for the brown fabric. Is there any Mirabilia pattern that you feel is a little more first time friendly? I have never done one or any beading. I will use 14 to 18 count Aida.
So many beautiful stitching pieces. Love the Stoney Creek “winter in the village.” Are you stitching it on 28ct. or 32ct.? belfast linen or lugana, antique white?
I like the blue too but it does seem a little intense. And I just noticed is that a satsuma design behind you? I bought this years ago but thought it looked a lot. Do you remember what you stitched it on and I like that you framed it. Thanks !
One more. Oops. The little girl with the bubbles, I didn't catch the name of the pattern, I like it on blue, but not sure if the blue is too intense. Just a thought.
I love the Great British Baking Show. I like the addition of the lady host but Noel is starting to get on my nerves with his crazy comments about Paul’s sausage fingers and buns. I did jump on board with the Great British Baking Stitching Challenge. I didn’t have 12 wips so I started new Carolyn Manning patterns for each contestant. So far, I’ve kept up w the stitching and it has been fun to see how different the stitching is for each contestant. So far, Dylan is ahead in the stitching.
What a pleasure to watch and see ALL of your beautiful stitching!!🧵🪡🧵🪡

I come here every time you post a video, you are a lovely lady and I love all your stitching 😊
I love all of your cross stitching, but I especially love when you share quilts! That Christmas one is stunning, the way you added the sashing and borders!
So good to see you again. I really like the blue for the little girl. Your quilt is beautiful thank you for sharing. Happy Stitching Patty

The lady is a beautiful woman. I enjoy your videos so much. Thank you.
Thanks for sharing. Your quilt is beautiful. I'm a quilter too, and that was a great solution. Better done than perfect, and I love your fabric choices.
Lori that quilt is gorgeous, you did a great job! I think I would choose the blue fabric, I think the colors will pop on it. Have a good two weeks.
I absolutely love to watch you! You made me a nervous wreck climbing on that swivel chair!😂. I LOVED your quilt! I thought it looked much better WITH the sashing! Much less hectic and I could see the fabric better. You did an excellent job!❤❤❤🎉

The quilt is beautiful. Great job in resolving the lining up of your squares. Brave getting up on the chair. I’m also stitching the Jardin Prive Gentleman and Lady. The Marquise Lady would be a lovely add to group.
Hi Lori. I enjoy your videos so much. The lady is a beautiful chart. Happy Thanksgiving.
I enjoyed your video. Your stitching is beautiful. Loved the quilt. Gorgeous fabric.
Your Christmas quilt is lovely. You said you aren't a perfectionist but as I see it, you are pretty darn close. XX
I truly love the lady she is beautiful. I also like the blue fabric for the little girl pattern.
I would choose 962 for floss for the Lady. . I hope you enjoy your family visit. I sure enjoy seeing your stitching. Your quilt is beautiful.

Great video. I like the blue material for your new start. But either one will be pretty. Happy stitching. Lady.

Hi Lori, I love all your projects! I suggest brown fabric and 223 floss. 😊
I so enjoy your videos, and am always impressed with the very challenging pieces you stitch! (I was also impressed with how easily you climbed up on that chair!) I think either fabric would look good for the little girl piece - but the blue would really make the lavender bow show up.... Happy November stitching! 😊
Thanks for the video. I like 223 as a choice for the pink in the lady.
So great to see your video pop up on my feed. That Lady would be a perfect pairing to the other 2 patterns which I do have but haven’t stitched yet.
I use a bigger size sticky note and move it down row by row to keep my place when stitching. Helps me a lot.
Another lovely video. I really like your winter village and the sampler. I would stitch the little girl on the brown. Lady.

I vote 3354 but, any of the pinks would be pretty. Lady

I like 152 and 223, with black. Are planning on using 2 "pinks" or just one?
I like the blue too but it does seem a little intense. And I just noticed is that a satsuma design behind you? I bought this years ago but thought it looked a lot. Do you remember what you stitched it on and I like that you framed it. Thanks !

I mean 223 Sorry.
