That beer looks delicious! What do you think about just making the base beer and mixing in the juice at serving? That way you can play around with different juices. Maybe you lose something if you don’t have it all carbed up together?… I don’t know, just a thought. Great video 🍻
That's not a bad thought. Schofferhofer makes other fruited hefe's too and I'd like to eventually do the same thing. The reason I did it this way was to be able to package a bunch of it. My main concern now is to see if my stabilization procedure worked. I plan to package up a few cans, leave them out on the counter and see if it ferments the juice/sugar. It shouldn't. But I want to be sure. If this whole process works, I will definitely toy with other juices. Thank you for that suggestion! Cheers!
