Some of these comments, good grief! The biggest problem with basketball is most of the public thinks they understand it. What makes Caitlin so good? Answer: Yes she reads plays well, yes she can shoot really good, but so can other girls. The thing that makes her special is she starts and stops and starts again like the boys do. I’ve watched a lot of women’s basketball, (I have two daughters) and most all of them take about a half a millisecond longer to stop and start compared to the boys. Plus, once they do start they don’t explode like the boys do, but Caitlin does!!! So, the amazing skill (shooting) mixed with her athleticism, specifically stopping and going, is what makes her special. And to be honest, she is “must watch” television!
This is why ladies should play with ladies and men with men... Transgender need their own leagues....OR, JUST ONE LEAGUE! I love watching ladies sports...At KU I played with Lynette Woodard many times and other Lady J's...I was BETTER than the best lady baller..she knew it...3 gold medals, Globetrotter, all American every season...I was just a white kid who played street ball only...Now, I was unstoppable and could dunk..and was a lefty...nobody stopped me in those days... I am so excited watching this baller..her guts and skills are superb
Clark brought me back to ANY sports from in ages. But, as inspired as IA and Clark have been, I'm just BARELY able to tolerate the political BULLS ---, including sabotaging refs, selective abuse of players/teams and the sickening poisoning the purest sport with racial complete bs (fans do NOT care). IA and Clark overcame it all, somehow . The fans and ratings speak for who truly won the championship.
