I saw Sweet Pea's entire career. There were many fights that Pernell didn't stop his opponent, mainly because he was winning every round. Same for Shakur.
Most of todays boxers were brought up with central a.c., full refridges, cable tv and 2 cars in the driveway.....these damn kids are not killers because they were born middle class and it shows when they fight a real savage..
Give credit to the "no name fighter." At least he had the courage to step into the ring with Shakur Stevenson. Can't say the same thing about Haney, Lomachenko, Isaac Cruz, Zepeda or Gervonta Davis.
I thought Foster won BUT I’m lightweight happy it happened this way. I’m tired of these “champs” coasting in the championship rounds. I hope these dudes mash the gas and compete the full 12 rounds from here out. All that good defense should’ve allowed for him to exploit some openings to put the beats on Concaieo.
I'm not gonna say Conceicao won it outright but Foster lost it with that poor performance. There was talks of fight of the year and Foster chose to be ultra negative.
Foster didn't have belief in that fight. He is defensivley sound but he doesn't fight like that all the time. He did not believe he could stop Conceicao so he fought confident that he would win because he's champion and he doesn't have to take the belt of the someone else. Rocky is far more crude and was winning when Foster KO'd him. Foster did not want to take risks. Conceicao was able to take it to Navarette even with knockdowns and he was robbed against a drugged up Valdez.
Blood do u not follow boxing ..dude was an olympic medalist ..maybe u should at the very least catch up on thextop 25 fighters in each weight class..that way your lack of boxing knowledge doesn't lead you to call a celebrated fighter unknow..hes just unknown to you. You had no clue who this guy was until he fought martin...catch uo dude

Stevenson didn't outbox him. It hardly threw any punches, can't cut off the ring, and is a coward in the ring. I don't understand why you guys respect this fraud of a fightee Stevenson.

Not so sure about that. Even at lightweight Pernell had a hard time popping a balloon with a needle.
