hello and great job you have achieved beautiful color beautiful motorcycle (my question is, what are the modifications you made to be able to put the 26 inch wheel thank you for your answer) sorry I use the google translator
Saw the bags n get it now . Did body work for a bit . Extend off the bags front n back . Where the 2 meet at bottom behind lic are they bolted or is it ridged enough. Now my mind is workin . How much heavier did it make bike ? I’m 215 + bags , air ride a must . How’s the handling on the highway.
@@kenstephens7366 So you figured out the secret...somewhat. Extended front, back, and bottom of the bags. Also extended the side covers, so that the bags would flow right to the side cover so that there was no separation or Hugh gap between the two pieces. Where the plate sits, the bolt's from the plate locks the bags together. Whatever you add to the bike will make the bike heavier, then throw in 4 big speakers and 2 amps so yeah its a lot heavier now. This bike is more about the style and the look, but still rides like a Cadillac.
@@kenstephens7366 You do know that those are 2 different bags right. 1 bike is a Roadliner, and the bike that I'm currently building bags for is a Roadstar. Can't remember, brought them about 5 yrs...ago. I think they were from Dennis Kirk. Not that expensive, they sell them with a rubber inserts that I took out of them.
@@coreywinkfieldsr9475, thanks for replying to my question. I have a 06 road star, and I can't carry anything lol. Would you happen to have a cost estimate? What state are you based out of?
@@kendallt5784 I'm actually working on Roadstar bags...and hopefully will been finished with the prototype in about 60 days. These bags gives you a custom look, hugh in capacity, and if your into music, can accommodate 1 - 3 speakers per bag. I think this will be a game changer for custom Roadstars. I'm in KY, the price will be right around $1700. for the set. Subscribe to my channel and you can see the progress of the bags being built.
