- Hurricane Ian left a path of destruction in southwest Florida, trapping people in flooded homes, damaging the roof of a hospital intensive care unit and knocking out power to 2.5 million people as it dumped rain across the peninsula on Thursday. One of the strongest hurricanes to ever hit the United States threatened catastrophic flooding around the state. Y'all should see the damages they are hiding. Catastrophic, Mexico Beach level in some places. Severely mangled power lines as in snapped in half shredded homes and businesses. Hell and high water levels, wind beating the hell out of structures at the height of the storm. Some stuff is unrecognizable...like what in the hell was that?
