  • Hurricane Ian left a path of destruction in southwest Florida, trapping people in flooded homes, damaging the roof of a hospital intensive care unit and knocking out power to 2.5 million people as it dumped rain across the peninsula on Thursday. One of the strongest hurricanes to ever hit the United States threatened catastrophic flooding around the state. Ian's tropical-storm-force winds extended outward up to 415 miles, drenching much of Florida and the southeastern Atlantic coast. #hurricaneian #storms #weather #newsy

Y'all should see the damages they are hiding. Catastrophic, Mexico Beach level in some places. Severely mangled power lines as in snapped in half shredded homes and businesses. Hell and high water levels, wind beating the hell out of structures at the height of the storm. Some stuff is unrecognizable...like what in the hell was that?

How long have you heard "this is the strongest storm to hit", the east coast. And yet more people move there. Are people that draft? Yes.

Gee how does it feel to be a weather refugee and homeless. Should we consider that it might be your fault? Or maybe it would be more humane to offer some assistance

I think about Israel. When the rapture happens and then a new leader comes to the party and announce’s peace that’s when the tribulation starts. I also think about the battle/beginning of war in Russia.

Scientists and engineers should be working on ways to stop these in their track. I understand satellites can detect an eye forming when its about 1/4
of a mile across. Small enough to have one of the weaker walls blown apart with munitions or microwave technology. It's time we try to control this terrible life threatening hazard.
