I got this projector a couple months ago and have been LOVING it! All the apprehension I had with UST’s vanished, once it was set up and ready to go. Excellent video! I look forward to when 3D support is released (Patiently awaiting…or trying to be patient haha).
Great review. I took a leap and purchased this for our dedicated home theater, replacing a high end projector. The colors are more vibrant, significantly brighter image, deeper black, and smooth motion. I wasn’t convinced UST was the better option but now I am hooked. Far greater experience compared to the JVC, and Sony I have previously ran… not to mention the gaming mode is actually usable and pleasurable on the 3500.
Yes I noticed that and also similar ports in the back but AWOL added the hidden compartment, I haven't testes the Bomaker but I read some complaints about it.
I agree, 3D is a deal breaker but $5k is out of my price range. Do the 2500 and 3500 have 3D as well? I don't know why these Mfg. are not enabling 3D. I was looking at the XGIMI Aura but I think this is a better projector.
Great video and review! Appreciate your perspective! I’ve had this projector since June, and it’s fantastic. Really cool to use an UST in daylight and still have a great picture. The colors are incredible. Thanks for reviewing it! Hard to go back to ‘normal’ size tv after watching a big screen. So immersive. Games are awesome too! One of the best out there for sure !!
I think you are mistaking seeing darker shadows for having better shadow detail. That samsung projector showed better shadow detail, the AWOL was showing crushed shadows. Hence looking too dark and lacked any shadow detail.
@@JoelsterG4k I know. I own the LTV-3500 and the picture quality is phenomenal. In your comparison video, it make the LTV-3500 look horrible next to the other UST projectors.

You are right, my bad, the larger .66 DLP chip is technically 2k that shifts to 4k, still a lot better than 1080 shifting to 4k. I thought that larger chip was 4k, plus they claim "real 4k" lol

Passive 3D capable?
Was the focus from the AWOL not on point?

Why is the AWOL sharpness looking like it was captured on a potatoe ? :D
Maybe it was my potato camera 😒, but in person looks amazing.
I'm saving up for this. The 150" screen is sick.
8:37 awol’s black level sucks, from this comparison, you can barely see the bottom parts of the boat from Awol's

Nice projector but its a shame they were aiming for ugliest projector for 2022.
Does any one know how the 2500 compares to the 3500
can you confirm that the input lag is lower in 1080p mode? i read somewhere online that it drops to < 20ms
17ms in 1080p
How does it compare with formovie theater?
At 150 is it still clear?

Hey Joelster!
I'm going with the 3500 with additional 120 vivid storm floor rising screen. Thanks for the in-depth review brother. 👍
